The Xcellon 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub² with Intelligent Charging provides seven USB 3.0 Type-A ports with 5 Gbps data transfer rates.

Two of the seven USB 3.0 Type-A ports also feature intelligent charging, which provides up to 2.4 A of power output when the device is plugged into an AC power outlet. This allows you to charge your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device. If you're not near a power outlet, you can still use the Hub² via bus power. The dual charging ports won't be able to charge while on bus power, but you'll still be able to transfer data.

The Hub² is also very compact. It has a square design and is made of heat-dissipating aluminum. There is an included sticker you can use to mount the Hub² to your desk, the back of your monitor, or your desktop tower.

USB 3.0

All seven ports on the Hub² supports USB 3.0, which provides up to 5 Gbps data transfer rates.

Dual Intelligent Charging Ports

Two of the seven USB 3.0 ports on the Hub² can charge and transfer data at the same time on USB-compatible devices. The dual ports deliver up to 2.4A, so your device charges quickly and efficiently.

AC Power

The Hub² comes supplied with a dual voltage (100-240 VAC) AC adapter for worldwide use. When you plug the Hub² into a power outlet, the dual USB charging ports are capable of delivering the power you need to USB-compatible devices, such as a printer, mobile hard drive, and other power-hungry devices.

Bus Powered

Can't find any power outlets anywhere? You can still use the Hub², because it can also be bus powered. While it may not be used for charging, you can still connect devices to your computer to sync data.

Plug and Play

You don't need to install drivers or download software for the Hub². Simply plug your Hub² into a power outlet or your computer and you're good to go.

Mounting Sticker Included

A double-sided 3M tissue-tape sticker is included with the Hub² so you can mount it securely to your desktop or wall. You can even mount the Hub² to your monitor or desktop tower to keep it stationary. The sticker is not reusable, so you should pick a good spot to attach it.

Does it support usb 2.0 device?
Asked by: Lingyu Z.
Yes, the computer it is being used on is an end-of-life unit that only has USB-2 ports. I got this hub so that I could take it with me when the machine is updated to a USB-3 machine in the near future. It works well, if slower than USB-3 with my Seagate expansion disk, printer, scanner and a chip reader (USB-1, USB-2 and USB-3 devices) downstream. I have not tried the powered jacks yet. It took 3 days to clone a 4TB hard drive but that was because on the USB-2 was the choke point. Blame the dinosaur I was running it on not the hub.
