View a color image of the depths below, up to 100' deep, with the Color Underwater Video Camera with Zoom from Aqua-Vu. You'll be able to study deep environments with the 7" sunlight-viewable color monitor while remaining dry on the surface. This system is ideal for saltwater, freshwater, and ice fishing, but may also be used for various other applications, such as explorations and inspections.

The camera features a color 1/3" Sony CCD image sensor for streaming live video feed to the monitor, which is connected via the supplied 100' cable. For operation in dark environments, the camera is fitted with infrared light that illuminates fish but doesn't spook them. A camera orientation display gives you an idea which way it is facing, and the depth display lets you know how far down it is. A temperature sensor is also built-in to let you know how cold the water is around the housing.

Power to the underwater viewing system is provided by the internal, rechargeable, 12V sealed lead acid battery, which fits securely inside the monitor base, or by the included 12V power port adapter. Charging is accomplished via the 120V wall charger. A plastic stabilizer fin and ballast weights are included, as well as the hardware to mount them. The Quick Attachment feature makes it easy to install or remove the fin and weight as needed. As an added bonus, a padded, weatherproof case is also included so you can store and transport the system with ease.

Applications
  • Fishing From a Boat or Pier: Lower the camera into the water and use the monitor to help locate fish and determine species and size
  • Ice-Fishing: lower the camera into the water through the hole in the ice, and use the monitor to see fish as they approach. Can also see how fish react to different types of bait, lures, colors, and movements. Fish and view through same hole or use one hole for fishing and another for viewing
  • Exploring underwater sea life and environments
  • Checking waters for safety before going swimming
  • Performing inspections under your boat
