This CR-DYB95 Sub-Zero Bass Boomers from GHS is a single .095 gauge, extra long scale, roundwound string with a 38" winding intended for use on electric bass guitars. It is made with a steel core wire wrapped in a round, nickel-plated cover, and then cryogenically treated with liquid nitrogen.

The string is frozen down to a temperature of -300°F and gradually restored to room temperature, a process which improves its dimensional stability, keeping it in tune, while increasing resistance to corrosion.

Should you break a string, this individual .095 can be used as a replacement to complete your Sub-Zero set, or you can make up a custom set with single strings in any gauges you select.
