SeaSonic Electronics SSR-650TD overview

  • 1Description

With a large 135mm fan, the PRIME Titanium 650W 80 Plus Titanium Modular Power Supply from SeaSonic Electronics is a powerful, yet efficient solution to powering and connecting computer peripherals. Unlike ball bearing fans, the fluid dynamic bearing fan uses oil as a lubricant to reduce friction and vibration, resulting in quieter operation, lower power consumption and longer life. This power supply features a cable-free connection between the back panel and the printed circuit board (PCB) to improve output power quality and increase MTBF.

80 Plus Titanium
94% efficiency at 50% system load
Fluid Dynamic Bearing Fan
Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fans take advantage of the impact absorbance of oil to reduce friction and vibration, effectively lowering operating noise, heat, and power consumption
Hybrid Fan Control
Allows you to keep the overall fan noise at the lowest level for quiet operation
Micro Tolerance Load Regulation
Keeps the output voltage within a tight range to achieve under 0.5% load regulation
Extended Hold-Up Time
30 ms hold-up time under a 100% load allows the power supply to output a stable current even under unstable input current conditions
Low Ripple Noise
Specially designed to produce a ripple noise below 20mV
Cable-Free Connection Design
The back panel and the printed circuit board are connected by a copper plate instead of cables, lowering the occurrence of installation errors and increasing the output power quality

    SeaSonic Electronics SSR-650TD reviews

PRIME Titanium 650W 80 Plus Titanium Modular Power Supply is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best Titanium out there Seasonic has always maintain their standards up high as one of the best PSU manufacturers worldwide, this new Prime Titanium is no exception, truly a work of art. You can check reviews from jonnyguru, kitiguru, for more detailed stress driven reviews. Mine comes only in form to tell you that it performs without any issues, no coil whine or electrical noise that i can hear, and even at 400W load, i couldn't hear the fan, truly one of the best PSU in the market, if you have the money, and you are looking for the best, look no further, you just found it, besides 10 years warranty is a lot, so you will have a very good PSU for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fantastic power supply This is a fabulous power supply. Everything about it is top end. It works without a problem. I do not hear any noise from it. The build quality and cabling are very nice. The packaging even is beautiful. My case has a window and I see the supply frequently throughout the day. Perfect! I didn't mind spending a premium because I want to eliminate the problems that other supplies can eventually have. It has a ten year warranty - I expect to keep it much longer than this computer build, just like my monitors. It is a bit physically large for my tiny ITX build. With an M.2 SSD and only one graphics card, I can't use the extra connectors. A smaller size would have let me use a smaller case, or at least better airflow in this one. I wish the PRIME Titanium line extended a bit lower with a quality part for these simpler but valued builds.
