The AL-M9 Amaran Pocket-Sized Daylight-Balanced LED Light from Aputure is an extremely portable yet surprisingly bright battery-powered LED fixture. Easily fitting in your pocket, the fixture is daylight balanced and sports a color temperature of 5500K with a CRI and TLCI rating of over 95. It includes a removable sheet of diffusion and 9 steps of dimming.
The Amaran integrates an 1800mAh lithium polymer battery with a nearly 2-hour runtime at full brightness when fully charged. You can charge the fixture using the included USB charging cable and a readily available USB charger (not included). Included with the fixture are magnetically attached diffusion, CTO, and CTB filters. The light slips into an adapter, so you can mount it to the cold shoe or threaded female 1/4"-20 accessory port of your camera.

Provides more balanced lighting for Zoom calls, especially in the evening. I do wish the lowest light setting was a bit less. I have to set it further away when I don't need as much light.

Why can not I adjust the led angle on the camera? I want this led but I have no possibility to adjust. The GVB GEAR led allows you to adjust the angle, correct?
Yes, the GVB Gear light does allow you to adjust the angle a bit. However the AL-M9 is a very high quality light and it has a 1/4 -20 thread on the bottom of it. That 1/4 -20 thread will allow you to add a Ball Head Shoe Mount like B&H # VECSBH2.https://bhpho.to/2sLlWTP

Just got one of these handy lights and I already love it. My only gripe/issue/confusion is that when I put on the provided CTO filter (which seems to be a 1/2 CTO filter, it introduces a green cast to my eye. With a CRI of 95+ I didn't expect this. The light without any filters looks great. Do I need to purchase a minus green filter as well just to get it closer to the advertised 3400k without any color shift?

If you have the light plugged into a USB battery pack can it power off that? I'm looking for ways to extend the battery life and if it can power off an external pack that would be gold.
This will work fine! However, if you are using it mounted to a camera then you might have a hard time mounting the battery.

For folks more familiar with lumens: -- from the staff answer of [email protected] / [email protected] / 80Lux@1m, ... I calculate this is a ~500 lumen light source (since it's a flat plate source with no focusing element, so dispersion angle is 90°).

Yes a good little adjustable fill light for many situations.I think if you regard this that little guy is a fill light, not as a main source light and you'll be happy with the results.

This can be mounted on a lightstand. It also has a 1/4 20 male thread if you want to mount it to the bottom of a camera.
