    BrickHouse Security MDC-12 reviews

Wristwatch with 1080p Covert Camera (Silver) is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good luck trying to get the memory card in the watch I've always wanted a cool spy watch that could record video. Upon browsing the cyber monday deals I saw that this watch was for sale. I liked that it didn't look obvious like most of the spy cameras available today. You really have to look hard to see the camera. The IR lights are more noticable than the camera lens and when I tell people this is a video camera they first think the IR lights are the camera lens. It works as a regular watch but to be honest who really uses it for that? lol The biggest downside to this watch is trying to put the memory card into it. In order to install the memory card you need to twist the back of the watch to remove the cover, then remove the battery, then you can install the memory card. Only problem is that it's beyond difficult to get the back cover off. It took me 3 days with about 6-8 hour tries each day to try and get the back cover off. I only managed to get it off by using a screwdriver in one of the grooves and hit it with a hammer to get it to twist the cover off. Even doing that took me a good 4-5 hours. The back cover is like a polished chrome so it's not easy to get a good grip. And in order to get it off you need to twist counter clockwise and add light pressure. Once off there are only like 2-3 threads on the cover plate...I got it to stay on for awhile but after 3-4 days of wearing it the plate started to pop off randomly. That is most likely my fault but the way its designed to take a memory card is nice because it's very hidden but it's also very very difficult to get to. So there is a trade off....but for the price it's still pretty decent. Just be prepared to get a little frustrated when it comes time to putting the memory card it. Luckily to retrieve the video you can just plug the USB into a hidden compartment and download that way. No need to remove the memory card once it's installed. The video quality isn't bad either. It's no GoPro but for the price it's a lot better than most of the common spy cameras out there. The watch is also pretty comfortable to wear as well.
