    iView IVIEW AIR STICK reviews

Air Stick ATSC Receiver is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent tuner but poor software Based on the tuner performance alone, I'd give this a 5+. it picked up 137 program streams in Los Angeles through 3 walls and a freeway from Mt. Wilson 25 miles away using the included magnet whip antenna. It is most most sensitive tuner I've tested. Using the included loop antenna it received many UHF stations, but as expected the small antenna didn't work well on VHF. Unfortunately the software, ATSC Player by Cidana, while usable without crashing, lacks basic features such as display of channel number (i.e. 4.1). Only the short name assigned by the station (i.e. "NBC4LA") appears even though the list is sorted by the non-displayed channel number. The EPG displays the guide, at least part of it, but time is shown as UTC, not local. No indication of signal strength is available to aid in antenna positioning. It can, however, record programs. It is a shame the software is so limited. When combined with my Asus Zenpad (P01M) it makes a great portable TV. Battery drain is reasonable, making it a handy device to have around to see what's going on in a weather or earthquake emergency. I'd recommend it for people with compatible Android devices.
