The Image MASSter Solo-4 G3 PLUS Forensic Enterprise Super Kit from ICS offers investigators the ability to simultaneously capture from one "Suspect" hard drive to two "Evidence" hard drives using SATA III 6 Gb/s technology at speeds up to 32 GB per minute. It can also capture from two separate "Suspect" hard drives to two individual "Evidence" hard drives and features built-in support for SAS, SATA, and USB 3.0 drives. It is powered by and Intel Core i7 processor and authenticates drive copies with SHA-1, SHA-2 and MD5. Also supported are IDE, RAID, and eSATA drives, as well as a variety of Micro Media flash drives.
When a "Suspect" drive is cloned to an "Evidence" drive, each image is saved as a 100% copy, Linux DD images, or E01 image files. All "Evidence" drives can also be encrypted on-the-fly during the acquisition phase to help protect sensitive data during transportation or storage. Gigabit Ethernet connectivity is also offered, allowing users to upload drive images to a Storage Area Network (SAN) for processing and archiving. For those who need to acquire cell phones, this unit can be used as a platform for third party cell phone acquisition apps such as Paraben, XRY, and more.
The Image MASSter Solo-4 G3 PLUS operates using Windows 7 Home Premium. Included with this drive acquisition unit are four SAS data cables and power cables, an IDE to SAS adapter kit, a 150W power supply, a power cord, and a touch pen.
