Extending the long end of your lens, the Century Precision Optics 0HD-16TC-72 1.6x Tele-Converter for Camcorders with Integrated Zoom Lenses and 72mm Thread enables you to get closer to your subject without having to move your camera. This is a front-mounted partial zoom converter that is designed to work on the long end of your lens and allows you to zoom about 20% wider than your lens's maximum focal length.

The converter incorporates a 102mm front filter thread allowing you to protect the front or affect the image by using a 102mm filter (not included).
