what is the bonding temperature of this product?
Asked by: James
I contacted the manufacturer regarding your inquiry. According to D&K, they state that the time and temperature is dependent on the machine you are using, whether vacuum or mechanical press. Machines can sometimes vary plus or minus 10 degrees in temperature, and quite often, I may run it as high as 200 degrees in a vacuum press for a five minute program, dependent on the type of application I may be running. For an average recommendation, you may use 180°F/82°C for 30 seconds to 1 minute when using a mechanical press, or 2-4 minutes when using a vacuum press. 4-ply and 8-ply mounting boards will need another minute.

After speaking with D&K, they feel that since this is their highest quality product, it should work as you need. However, I will add that you should test before using.
