    CAME-TV PRODIGY reviews

Prodigy 3-Axis Camera Gimbal with 32-Bit Encoders is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from ???? This gimbal has been nothing but a hastle. The review before me is completely accurate. You can have this thing perfectly balanced and still suffer from wag/shake issues. Having to completely change the GUI numbers and adjust the power of the gimbal rite out of the box is not ideal. I understand you still make changes to gimbals like the ronin but they are extremely minute compared to this gimbal. CameTvs response to these problems were poor as well. Your better off buying a used ronin than this thing brand new. Some users factor in the price compared to other gimbals but honestly if I could do it again i would not have wasted my money on The prodigy gimbal. Structurally it's cheap, functionally it's a burden. Save your money folks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Faulty rig? The build quality is an odd mix of high quality aluminum, carbon fiber, and cheap plastic. I give the actual build 4 stars. The plastic resides primarily in the battery pack, but the power button did fold back and disappear into the battery pack shell, leaving only the tiny black post that must be pressed. The biggest problem I have with the rig is that ether we have a faulty setup, or all those folks in the review videos are secretly gimbal whisperers. When properly balanced, the rig will shimmer and shake regularly. If the tilt of the control bar is more than slight, the whole rig will spin in complete circles then spasm. And on more than one occasion, when pressing the power button, and having fully charged batteries, the rig simply would not power on. Embarrassing when you have clients waiting to start filming....
