question
Why does my left channel reaches lower compared to the right one when recording?
It's a stereo mic. Both tracks shouldn't be the same. If the right channel is hotter than the left. It's possible you are in a position where the the right channel is closer to some thing that is louder than what's coming in to the mic on the left. Try positioning the recorder closer to the left side than the and see if it evens out a bit.

Is there a recommended travel case for this mic? ...
Is there a recommended travel case for this mic? I haven't been able to find any zipper like cases to keep it protected while in the camera bag.
You may be able to use a padded bag like the K-Tek KGBM1 Medium Gizmo Bag (B&H # KTKGBM1) or perhaps something like the Ruggard Lens Case 6 x 4.5" (B&H # RULCY16X4) or the larger models. As long as the mic will fit, it should provide the protection you need.

question
Hi, does this work with a Pentax K3?
no experience with that Pentax; have used with Canon T5i... as long as you have a mic in, you ought to be fine. It clips to the common hot-shoe on top of a dslr. Hope that helps!

question
I have a Canon rebel EOS T1I and I really want to purchase this kit but my camera doesn't have a external mic jack, is there anything I can I get so that I would be able to still use everything or would the kit only work when it is hooked up to a camera?
This kit could be used in conjunction with a portable audio recorder. The audio from the recorder could then be synced using software when editing the video on the computer.

will this work with Lumix FZ300?
will this work with Lumix FZ300?
This should be no problem. Newer versions of the Lumix have the proper 3.5mm input jack so using the boom pole should work fine. Also, the standard shoe mount will accept direct mounting on the camera.
