The WD Se Datacenter Capacity HDD from ACTi is suitable for scale-out datacenters and can be used with compatible ACTi NVRs. This 3.5" HDD features SATA 6Gb/s interface and 7200 rpm drive speed. With 6TB capacity, a large amount of data can be stored and accessed quickly. For optimum reliability, each read-write head's fly height is adjusted in real time. The WD Se Datacenter Capacity HDD is suitable for bulk cloud storage, distributed file systems, replicated environments, cost-efficient RAID architectures, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
Compatible ACTi NVRs
- ENR-010P, ENR-020P, ENR-110, ENR-120, ENR-130, ENR-140, ENR-190, ENR-1xxx, ENR-2000, GNR-3000, INR-310, INR-320, INR-330, INR-340, INR-410, INR-420, INR-430, and INR-440 network video recorders
Vibration Protection
- RAFF technology includes sophisticated electronics to monitor the drive and correct linear and rotational vibration in real time. This helps the drive to improve performance improvement in high vibration environments.
Dual Actuator Technology
- The drive comes with a head positioning system with two actuators that improves positional accuracy over the data tracks. The primary actuator provides coarse displacement using conventional electromagnetic actuator principles. The secondary actuator uses piezoelectric motion to fine-tune head positioning to a higher degree of accuracy.
StableTrac
- The motor shaft is secured at both ends to reduce system-induced vibration and stabilize platters for accurate tracking during read and write operations.
Multi-Axis Shock Sensor
- The multi-axis shock sensor automatically detects subtle shock events and compensates to protect data.
RAID-Specific, Time-Limited Error Recovery (TLER)
- TLER reduces drive fallout caused by the extended hard drive error-recovery processes common to desktop drives.
NoTouch Ramp Load Technology
- The recording head never touches the disk media to ensure significantly less wear to the recording head and media, as well as better drive protection in transit.
Thermal Extended Burn-in Test
- The WD drive is put through extended burn-in testing with thermal cycling to ensure reliable operation.
Advanced Format (AF)
- AF is a more efficient media format that enables increased areal densities.
