UniFi Managed PoE+ 16-Port Gigabit Switch with SFP (150W) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way of the future I have the edgerouter pro, which in hindsight if I knew I was going Unifi I would have got the Unifi Security Pro, so my vlan settings didn't replicate from my router to the switch. However I had already set up my Unifi AP with the vlans, so when I plugged in the switch it pulled an IP, populated my assigned vlans, and just started working. I went back and turned off the POE on ports that didn't need it, updated firmware, assigned vlans to specific ports, and called it good. This is the way networking should be. P.S. I've heard people complaining of the fan noise, I have mine in a vented enclosure and the fan hasn't had to kick on once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can be rack mounted or mounted to a wall I needed something that had at least 12 ports and I already have UniFi wireless so this switch made perfect sense. The rack mount ears can be mounted normally or to either side for wall mounting (that is what I did). There is a fan and it runs at full speed on boot up but after that I can't even hear it. I guess if you were in a VERY quiet office and it was next to your head you would hear it. Supplies 48v (standard) and 24v passive PoE. I was able to get it to talk to a VLAN trunk from another brand switch too, VLANs are super easy on the UniFi equipment unlike most other manufactures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm moving from Cisco to Unify switches If you are running Unify access points, then it really helps to use Unify switches. It is great to have the whole environment visible in the Unify software for monitoring and control. I have actually had less connectivity issues with my wifi access points since moving from Cisco switches to Unify switches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ubiquiti just works. Just like all of the other Ubiquiti equipment I've purchased. It just works. I replaced an aging Cisco 2960G with this for a fraction of the cost. Much easier to manage through UniFi controller. Works with any SFP transceivers you throw at it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up - Reliable quality, Just finished setting this up for a small office. Installing and configuring a few port forwards were easy. If you want to do more advanced changes/options, you'll have to do Command line interface which is not so easy. For what we need, it works great. We are also using other UniFi switches and AP's and couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great in my network closet Worked great with my existing Unifi system. It supports wall mounting, but I didn't want to trust it. I ended up buying a StarTech RK119WALLV 1U 19-Inch Steel Vertical Wall Mount Equipment Rack Bracket (Black) from another retailer to mount the switch on the wall of my closet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this product line. If you have their wireless products or not, this is an awesome product for homes / small businesses. The ability to simply login, see the ips connected to each port, and the associated bandwidth usage. Worth every dollar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overkill for a home network but glad I got it!!! I was debating to get the 8 instead of this but I'm glad I did. I love that all the ports are POE. I can run the new UAP-IW-AC's without external power!
