Supporting the 802.3at/af PoE networking standard and a 320W PoE power budget, the TL-SG3424P JetStream 24-Port Gigabit L2 Managed PoE+ Switch from TP-Link is designed to provide power to devices such as IP cameras, VoIP equipment, access points, and other PoE compliant network devices. This managed PoE switch comes equipped with 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4 combo SFP slots for high speed local network connectivity, and a single console port. Once installed this TP-Link switch offers enhanced switching functionality thanks to the 48 Gbps switching capacity, a 35.7 Mpps forwarding rate, an 8K MAC address table, and a 10KB jumbo frame.

This JetStream TP-Link switch features extensive Layer 2 functionality complete with Link Aggregation Control Protocol support, GARP VLAN Registration Protocol, STP/RSTP/MSTP support, and IGMP Snooping. To ensure data intensive tasks receive the necessary bandwidth, this switch supports Quality of Service features including four priority queues, 802.1p compliance to prioritize packets, and DSCP coding to provide priority markings to packets within the network. With the TL-SG3424P switch network administrators have two management options, a web-based GUI or command line interface, making it easy to monitor and control various aspects of the network.

IEEE 802.3at/af Compliant Power over Ethernet
The TL-SG3424P provides 24 10/100/1000Mbps ports that support the 802.3at/af PoE network standard, with a total PoE power supply up to 320W designed to support devices like wireless access points, surveillance cameras, IP phones and more. The switch also comes equipped with 4 combo SFP slots, expanding your network's flexibility. Additionally users benefit from enterprise-level QoS, advanced security strategies and rich layer 2 management features.
Secure Networking
This JetStream Gigabit L2 Managed PoE Switch provides IP-MAC-Port-VID Binding, Port Security, Storm control and DHCP Snooping which protect against broadcast storms, ARP attacks, etc. Additionally, the Access Control Lists (ACL, L2 to L4) feature restricts access to sensitive network resources by denying packets based on source and destination MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports and even VLAN ID. Moreover, the switch supports 802.1X authentication, which is used in conjunction with a RADIUS server to require some authentication information before access to the network is allowed.
Advanced QoS Features
To integrate voice, data and video service on one network, this switch applies rich QoS policies. Administrators can designate the priority of the traffic based on a variety of means including IP or MAC addresses, TCP or UDP port numbers, to ensure that voice and video are always clear, smooth and jitter free.
Layer 2 Functionality
The TL-SG3424P supports a complete lineup of layer 2 features, including 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port Mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation Control Protocol and 802.3x Flow Control functionality. The switch also provides advanced features for network maintenance such as Loop Back Detection, Cable Diagnostics and IGMP Snooping. IGMP snooping ensures the switch intelligently forwards the multicast streams only to the appropriate subscribers while IGMP throttling and filtering restrict each subscriber on a port level to prevent unauthorized multicast access.
Enterprise Level Management Features
The TL-SG3424P is easy to use and manage. It supports various user-friendly management features such as intuitive web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) or industry-standard Command Line Interface (CLI), either way traffic can be protected through SSL or SSH encryption standards.
