The bx_rooMS from Brainworx is a realistic and versatile reverb processor that combines TrueSpace technology and mid-side processing to create a nearly infinite number of possible room shapes. Mid-side parametric filtering, center-image panning, and width-control of the reverb's stereo field give mix engineers, sound designers, audio-post engineers, and electronic musicians the ability to shape virtual spaces to fit any music or sound-for-picture application.
The plug-in is powered by TrueSpace technology, which provides seamless blending of algorithms in the selected space size. This continuous control allows you to emulate natural-sounding halls, churches, plates, and ambiances but also lets you create a virtually limitless number of custom reverbs.
With almost 200 presets and Quick Select buttons to get you easily started, the bx_rooMS lets you work quickly and with confidence. The low CPU drain allows many instances to be used on track inserts across a mix.
Realistic simulations of rooms, halls, churches, plates, and ambience
TrueSpace technology provides a continuous range of unique space types, giving you a virtually infinite number of possible room shapes and sizes
Room Shape slider seamlessly adjusts the character of reverb programs from natural to artificial
Reverb Stereo Image
Continuously variable Stereo Width control for spacious reverb and bigger-sounding mixes than achieved with traditional panning
Pan the reverb's mid channel to correct a lopsided soundstage or to creatively change the room's virtual geometry without narrowing the reverb's expansive width
Use Mono Maker control to collapse bass frequencies in the wet signal to the phantom center, adding focus to the reverb's bottom end and clarifying the hard-panned edges of your sonic space
Apply Brainworx's ultra-transparent mid-side filters to discrete channels and shape the reverb's spectral balance by clarifying and sitting it perfectly without smearing, even in the most complex mix
Continuously variable Source Distance control moves the dry signal farther out into the virtual room
Stereo>stereo and mono>mono configurations included
Quick Select buttons let you easily access five different environments of three sizes each, starting you off with a solid acoustic response from which you can further customize your space to taste
Adjust the Room Shape control to warp the reverb's characteristically smooth response
Fully parametric 2-band equalizer can be assigned to the mid, side or both mid and side channels, or bypassed
Low- and high-frequency damping controls use continuously variable shelving filters with independent bypasses
Use the Source Distance control to move the dry signal for an electric guitar solo farther out into your virtual room
Tweak the Directivity control to adjust how much each side of a stereo background-vocal subgroup is fed into the opposite reverb channel
Quantize function changes wet signal's bit depth to 8, 12, 16 or 24 bits to emulate both classic and modern reverb designs
Modulation Frequency and Amount controls add subtle movement or create outrageous, pitch-shifting reverbs
The Fix Mix control locks your current wet/dry balance as you browse different presets
Click the Input Bypass button to temporarily mute the reverb's input, letting you evaluate the reverb tail as it naturally fades out
Extremely low CPU drain allows many instances to be used on track inserts across a mix
Nearly 200 presets from experienced producers and engineers
