Take smartphone photography to the next level with this Hasselblad True Zoom Camera for Motorola Z family smartphones. A part of their Moto Mods system, this camera mounts easily to the back of the phone using strong magnets and features an electronic connection for data transmission and power. The True Zoom Camera dramatically improves your photographic capabilities by utilizing a 12MP 1/2.3" BSI CMOS sensor with a sensitivity range of up to ISO 3200 along with a Hasselblad 10x optical zoom with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 25-250mm and an f/3.5-6.5 aperture. This camera also features optical image stabilization to help reduce the impact of shutter shake and offers Full HD 1080p video at 30 fps with electronic stabilization. Additionally, the camera features a physical shutter release and zoom lever for tactile control as well as a built-in Xenon flash to illuminate dark scenes.

Advancing your image quality beyond what is normally found in a smartphone, the True Zoom Camera offers DNG raw shooting along with a Pro mode that offers control over focus, white balance, aperture, ISO, and exposure. It also offers a few color effects and red eye reduction in addition to the standard capture modes. And, thanks to smartphone integration users will be able to edit images, transfer them over Wi-Fi or cellular connections, and record geolocation data with ease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This mod was given to me as a birthday gift last year and I love it! Great quality photos and videos! The zoom is amazing! The only 2 cons that I've experience are it drains my phone battery a bit too quick and every once in a blue moon it will give me an error when I would try to turn it on. Other than that, I'd recommend it :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hasselblad Into photography. Got this attachment several months ago and have good then some great pics and video, but it's a work in progress like photography is. I believe this is a great option and will continue to use and develop my skill with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We're Almost There! Ever since the first mobile phones with camera capability hit the market I wished for a camera that I could use in the way that I used a camera and just happened to have a phone attached. The Hasselblad True Zoom comes very close - Not absolutely perfect; as I wish thatHasselblad/Motorola had thought to build in grommets for wrist or neck strap capability, but the greater degree of photographic control plus RAW imaging does tend to make up for for the omission. True, you do give up some mega pixels the phone camera is 21mp while the Hass Moto Mod is only 12 but the images that you can get from the attachment are far superior to the ones you get from the phone alone. And considering that there are many full-size, full-frame DSLRs on the market that are priced in the $5000 and above range that are also only 12mp, this attachment is economical. The magnetic attachment is super strong, and the addition of a real shutter release, zoom lever and the ability to choose between the gold camera shutter button and the one on the display is also a plus. It's not for everybody, I mean; it doesn't replace or surpass my DSLRs by any means, but it does offer a reasonable quality alternative for a quick shot now and again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It could be better. But the logo makes it worthit! I wanted this to be an amazing camera. It kind of is, but the real work needs to be done in the software. The default camera software for the camera is the default camera software for the Hassy. It is OK, but slow and cumbersome. Download "Open Camera" or "Footej Camera" or "DSLR Camera" from the Play store and make them the default. This makes the camera SING. The first app is free o pen source and you can donate to the developer (you should) the second two are $2.99 each, and money well spent. You DO NOT NEED all3. Pick one. My only other complaint is the lack of a standard tripod screw mount on the bottom - they could have done. Yes, you can put it in a cell phone adapter blah blah blah, but it is a funny size and shape for that & it was just lazy. SInce it doesn't look like Motorola will be in the phone business much longer, there ain't gonna be a lot of update for these bad boys. Like you knew when you bought it, at ALL has a life expectancy of two to five (thre) years. Enjoy it. By then we will be shooting VR holo variable focus, adjustable depth of field after the fact, light balancing self levelling, Ansel Adams mode cameras anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly Awesome In a head-to-head competition against my cousin with the Apple iPhone 8 the Hasselblad Moto Mod was the clear winner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from overrated overpriced as the subject prob spoiled it.. it doesn't worth the price. pros: other than the 10x zoom, nothing related to image quality, maybe for ppl to show off or bragg..(?) cons: turns 16mp to 12mp which would be ok if the sensor would be much larger but it's a small 1/2.3 sensor, average quality/slow lens (f/3.5 and f/6.5), no additional battery (which is good and bad), extra bulk to carry around in your pocket - together or separate, price, image quality. Bottom line. The idea had potential. Unfortunately the execution fell short. 12mp is fine but could have used a larger sensor, and faster, better lens. As it is, it turns a slim phone (4-500+) to a bulky one from the 90's. All that for about 7-800+ bucks or into a mediocre point and shoot cam that's also a phone for 7-800+.. Either way the zoom alone is the only pro and if that's not the top of your list, there are much better solutions..
