Does the Canon 5D IV come with C-Log?

Does the Canon 5D IV come with C-Log?
Asked by: Yossi
I am not using C-log myself. But I noticed that Canon sells a model 5D IV on their web site that specifically includes C-log. If you already have a 5D IV that does not include C-log, you can have it upgraded. But that involves shipping your camera to a Canon repair facility and paying a fee.

Do lenses compatible with Canon eos70d work with the EOS 5d Mark IV
Asked by: Jeffrey
The 70D is a cropped sensor camera and typically uses EF-S lenses (cropped sensor lenses) but can also use EF lenses (full frame lenses). However, EF-S lenses are NOT compatible with the 5D4(full frame).

Should I accept a brand new 5D MK IV right out of the box that has two dead sensor pixels? They are in every shot and will be for as long as I have the camera. Is this acceptable? I have had 3 other pro Canon cameras and none of them had any dead pixels.

Canon full frame DSLR cameras do not have a crop mode, due to the fact you cannot attach crop sensor lenses.

How would one describe the differences between ...

How would one describe the differences between the 5D Mark IV and the 7D in non-technical terms? Not really interested in video capabilities. Long due upgrade from Canon 30D.
Asked by: Blinn
Keeping it simple and short, The 5D4 has a full frame sensor and the 7D is a cropped sensor. With the 5D4, it will give you much better detail, color and better low light capabilities. If you plan to make large prints or crop, then the 5D4 would be best, if you want a good quality camera and don't really plan to make large prints, etc... the 7D would be a great fit.
