question
I have a number of different brands of soft boxes, etc. for flash. I would like to use my soft boxes with continuous light. Is this the best mount for this purpose?
it mounts via a clap to a 5/8 post if where you want to mount it does not have a 5/8 diameter you will need an adapter. mine needed a 1/4 to 5/8 adapter to mount up. the unbrellas worked well for me . and you have to use either led or cfl lamps as others get to hot.

question
Will this be safe to use with a 150Watt Equivalent 20W led bulb?
I don't know for certain. I am using a 30W, fan-cooled LED lamp in mine, and it works fine. Reading the Product Highlights for the fixture, it only stipulates that it is For LED and Fluorescent Bulbs with an E26/E27 Edison base. So I would suspect that a 20W LED bulb would be okay.
