Stay connected while tracking your all-day activity and exercise with the small, blue Charge 2 Fitness Wristband from Fitbit. This wrist-worn activity monitor tracks how many steps you take, your distance traveled, calories burned, floors climbed, and how many minutes you stay active. Thanks to its onboard PurePulse technology, the Charge 2 also provides continuous and automatic heart rate data. You can use this heart rate data to monitor your intensity, analyze the effectiveness of your activities, maximize your workouts, and more—all without the need of an additional heart rate chest strap or accessory. Additionally, the Charge 2 features SmartTrack technology that automatically recognizes the exercise your performing and records your metrics to the free companion app.

The Charge 2 houses an OLED display that lets you see your progress in real-time throughout the day. In addition to fitness tracking and heart rate data, the Charge 2 can receive smart notifications from your smartphone, so you can stay connected to the outside world even when you're working out.

    Fitbit Charge 2 reviews

Charge 2 Fitness Wristband (Small, Blue) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from After four Fitbits and four bands giving up going to Garmin This is my fourth Fitbit, two purchased, two replaced under warranty. Band broke on the first Charge twice, I now have the Charge 2 and after less than 6 months that band also just broke (how can they keep offering such substandard bands? I'm active, but heck that's what these things are for), and as of a few days ago it only synchs intermittently with my phone and the laptop dongle has failed (why it won't synch using ordinary laptop BlueTooth is beyond me). The face scratches very easily. Other than all those hardware issues, it works and tracks very well, I'm just done with Fitbit, going to try the Garmin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely the smart purchase. After tons of research this was the best option for our personal needs. The best parts are the sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring and notifications. It's convenience is great. Just look down and tap for various displayed readings. The alarm is great too! I was hesitant on spending the money but now realize it's definitely worth it. I love being able to just look down at my wrist while running to see where I'm at on time, heart rate, and distance. Instead of trying to pullout my phone and fumble with the code and the looking at my app. B&H was great to deal with as always.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes fitness more fun This is my first fitness tracker so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I am overall pretty happy with it so far. Battery life, steps, stairs, heart rate, also tracking are all reliable. Exercise detection and GPS pairing need work though. I would also like if the display lighting could adjust brightness when dark. It's annoying when I'm trying to sleep and the display suddenly turns on because I flipped my arm over. The display is also bad at turning on with the arm motion when I'm biking. Other than that I'm happy with it and the data I'm getting from it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not sure if it is a defective item two issues: 1. the sensor is too sensitive, it measured 9000+ steps each night when I sleep; 2. have to recharge it everyday (ad says per recharge last for 5 days). #1 seems to be fixable with a (software) patch, but #2 issue is not. Returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the first wearable I should have purchased I have been through a lot of wearables, most of them I sold, from the apple watch to microsoft band to the old fitbit flex. The good about this is the ease of use and battery life. You have your basic notifications like imessage and calls but nothing else. I actually like this because only important things will come through. The sleep tracking is terrific and tracks it fairly accurately you don't even need to turn it on. The app has improved so much since I had the flex a year plus ago. I actually don't chase steps even if I have a fitbit since I enjoy different exercises but it shows me my overall health and movement so I'm aware if I move enough or sleep enough. When I get into a crazy exercise cycle, I could see the resting HR tracking will be a good indicator of fatigue because it does track it and you can average it. Everybody's body works differently and I can't pile on a p90x3 followed by a T-25 for example. I actually don't notice that I wear it nor do I take it off often because of the battery life (only on showers) so it's really not a hassle. I've showered with it once and it survived. Apple watch, battery life of 1 day, too inconvenient and you can't even track sleep on it because of it. It has died on me as I exercised because of battery drain, etc. i don't need to play games on my watch. I hate that it's a watch. Again, people who can afford an apple watch probably also has a nice watch waiting to be used. Fitbit blaze (watch), I actually like the band so I can wear my beloved watches. I look stupid if I wear 2 watches. My friend loves it though. A man who wears two watches can't tell time. Microsoft band - it's dead and discontinued. Other fitness trackers - without the fitbit app, any fitness tracker is pointless and is why you should stick to fitbit because their app is already developed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great beginner fitness tracker I recently purchased the Fitbit Charge 2 and I'm loving the hear rate tracker feature and reminder to move feature. This is my first fitness tracker and it seems very durable. The batter life is great for me, because I don't really track my sleep so it's not an issue when I need to charge it every 5 days, I just charge it at night while I sleep and it's no issue. The only reason I don't give this product 5 starts is because the touch sensitivity on the screen isn't that great and I find it a bit difficult to interact with the device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Have used the fitbit charge 2 for a couple of weeks and love seeing all the information about my heart rate, sleep and activity. I just started a new food logging site called lose it and my fitbit syncs to that website. First day on the new website so not sure how this will all work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great purchase I purchased the original Fitbit years ago and loved it...until, I purchased the Charge 2. I am now obsessed. I love the meditation and breath function, the fact that you can easily switch screen views, and the reminders to move. I never really thought that the HR feature would be important, however, now that I have it...I can't live without it. Workouts are that much more efficient because of the constant HR read. The only thing I find to be a downfall is the length of time the screen stays on.
