I am looking for a handheld stereo recorder with 24-bit/96 kHz high resolution with a stereo 3.5 mm line in input for recording old vinyl records. Can this be done with this product? I am open to suggestions.
Asked by: Paulo
Hi! Happy to help! The PMD561 does have a 1/8" line input, though for the best results, I would recommend connecting the turntable output to the dual 1/4" inputs (dual jack with the XLR inputs).

question

How many iso channels can this record via the SPDIF input? Can other inputs be recorded simultaneously along with a digital signal from the SPDIF connector?
Asked by: Liam
2 (stereo) or 1 (mono) ia the SPDIF input. It cannot record more than a stereo or dual mono track from any one input at a time.
