Filter Content

Easy Age Presets

Circle offers parents the option of four general filter age levels. These filters come defaulted with settings designed for that age group, but can be easily and quickly customized

Circle also allows you to easily filter popular apps and platforms. Each filter level defaults to the most popular ones for that age group

A Web for Each Age

Circle takes a massive database of websites and fits them into easy-to-understand categories. Feel free to customize filter levels to meet each kid's needs

Kid Safe

For the stuff that your kids should never see, like mature and explicit content, Circle has you covered. When a profile is set to anything but "Adult", the bad stuff doesn't even show up as an option to enable and is handily filtered by Circle

Want to go further? Circle allows you to set custom filters for individual sites. You can either add it to the filter list, or allow it even when the category is turned off

Block Ads

Yes, Circle can block ads. Enable "Ad Blocking" in your filter settings and Circle will block almost any ad from ever making it onto any of your devices

A Safer Kind of Search

Circle can default to safe search on Google, filtering out inappropriate sites and images from search results

It's Chore Time!

Every family member has their own pause button for them and their devices. Give your kids a distraction-free chore time or homework time by simply pressing the pause button. It's also just as easy to unpause when you want them to reconnect

Every Device Managed

If it's connected to your Wi-Fi, Circle sees it and allows you to manage it. Whether it's a laptop, tablet, or Smart TV, Circle has you covered without any software needed on any of those devices

Devices the Entire Home Enjoys

Some devices are shared by everyone in the home. Circle has a "Home" profile that lets you set up basic controls that apply to everyone on these devices

Your Devices, Your Settings

Most devices belong to someone in the home. Mom's phone, dad's laptop, or one of the kids' iPods. Time Limits, BedTime, and Filter settings set for a family member apply to all their devices

Smart Home Devices

Many devices on a network don't ever need to be managed by Circle, such as your Nest Thermostat or a smart sprinkler system. Circle automatically un-manages these devices so you don't have to bother

New Devices

Once you've set up Circle, you'll receive a notification anytime a new device pops up. The new device will fall into the "Home" profile for you to choose how you want to manage it

How Circle Works With....

Laptops

All of Circle's features work with laptops when connected to your home network. Previously downloaded content, games, and apps that don't require Internet aren't manage by Circle

Tablets

All of Circle's features work with tablets when connected to your home network. Apps, books, and content previously downloaded onto tablets aren't managed by Circle unless an Internet connection is required (i.e. Facebook, Snapchat, App Store)

Desktop Computers

All of Circle's features work with desktop computers when connected to your home network, even when using Ethernet. Previously downloaded content, games, and apps that don't require Internet are not managed by Circle

Streaming Boxes

All of Circle's features work with streaming boxes to filter content, limit screen time, and enable BedTime. When a streaming box is paused, all functionality is disabled. Previously downloaded content, games, and apps that don't require Internet are not managed by Circle

Game Consoles

Circle is able to manage online game access and time as well as app store access and streaming content time tracking and access. Offline disc gameplay is not managed by Circle

Smart Phones

All of Circle's features work with smartphones when connected to your home network. When connected to 4G, LTE, or another Wi-Fi network, Circle does not manage the device. Options for the iPhone coming soon with Circle Go

Smart Home Devices

When setting up Circle, you can select all of your smart home devices to make sure that Circle doesn't interrupt their functions

iPods

All of Circle's features work with iPods when connected to your home network. Previously downloaded content, games, and apps that don't require Internet are not managed by Circle

Smart TVs

All of Circle's features work for smart apps on Smart TVs. Cable and antenna television content is not managed by Circle

Pairs wirelessly with your router with instant device recognition. No software per device or monthly subscription required. No complicated series of steps involved. Just an iOS app and that's it

Secure

Circle is incredibly secure. It uses end-to-end encryption for your data so it's safe. Circle also has a battery inside so it can't just be turned off by one of your kids

ARP Spoofing

Circle uses ARP spoofing to automatically monitor all traffic on the home network, without the need for any special configuration

Privacy

One unique aspect of Circle is that your data lives on the device. That means that all your surfing history for your family stays stored on your Circle and isn't up in the cloud somewhere. Circle doesn't sell this data, mine it, or even access it except to relay it to your iOS app. Circle is in full compliance with COPPA standards. It's your data and should belong to you

How It Works

Circle isn't a router, but does pair wirelessly with yours. Circle is designed to work with a single network and manage all the website requests from all the devices in the home. From there, each user's settings kick in. If a request is allowed, all the web traffic goes directly from the home Wi-Fi to the device. Guest networks and subnetworks of your home Wi-Fi are not additionally managed
