The 15V iPower Ultra-Low Noise AC/DC Power Supply from iFi Audio utilizes noise-canceling technology to deliver exceptionally quiet power to any DC-powered device. The iPower features active noise cancellation developed for military fighter jets, which results in a 1uV noise floor. The dynamic noise suppression circuit uses a 12-element array on the output (DC barrel) and a 6-element array on the input (at the 2-pin mains) to contain and neutralize any noise, resulting in "battery quiet" DC power performance. iPower ships with several DC-barrel tips of various sizes and a right-angled extension cable, as well as a polarity inverter adapter for "center negative" audio products. Additionally, the iPower includes a set of globally compatible interchangeable pins for use with USA, UK, EU, and AU electrical outlets.

iPower Ultra-Low Noise AC/DC Audiophile Power Supply (15V) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings I am using this to power an Olasonic Dac. I was surprised to hear how much this little adapter lowered the noise floor but it also made things sound a bit bright in comparison to my linear power supply. The plugs did not match the Dac so I just hardwired it in. I think this is a significant upgrade for anyone that is powering any kind of audio equipment with a normal ac/dc adapter but it will change the characteristics of your sound. I don't think it will be a replacement for a good linear power supply.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really not sure what to rate it So what they advertise is true, it does lower the noise floor in comparison to a linear power supply but I don't know what to think of it yet. I am using this on an Olasonic Dac/headphone amp with Audeze LCD2 headphones. The Olasonic ships with a good quality switching power supply but I quickly replaced with an old fashioned bench top linear power supply. Although the Olasonic is 16V, I had verified it to work at 15V. When I first opened the iFi box, I thought, oh great, I just spent $50 bucks on an dc adapter. It looks similar and has a similar build quality to a normal dc adapter. I wish the wire was more heavy duty with more copper in it. For the US market, there is no need for the additional types of wall adapters. None of the add on plugs matched the Olasonic so I just hard wired the connector that the Olasonic came with. I am using Foobar with the Sox up-converter (to 176.4khz) and ASIO drivers to play uncompressed wav files. I do notice that the noise floor as dropped in comparison to my linear power supply but it has also changed the sound to be a little more bright, cleaner, and less involved. It reminds me of the sound my Oppo players provide. Yes I know that I am using 15V instead of 16V but when I tested that on my bench supply it did not affect the sound quality. I guess my bottom line is that it will lower the noise floor but I believe that there are other factors at work that make a linear power supply what audiophiles choose other than just the noise level. This purchase did make me realize that there are things that are lacking in my bench supply that I will be working on.
