The plugs draw about 2 watts. So, over a year, operating 24 hours a day every day, at $.14/kwh, it will cost about $2.45 for each plug.Math = (((2/1000) * 24) * 365) * $.14 = $2.4528

question

Do you have to have an Alexa or Google assistant or can I just use my iPhone and download the app? I do have Wi-Fi in my home I just do not have any of the mentioned units.
Asked by: Anonymous
Alexa/Google Assistant is not required. The Kasa App for your iPhone (TP-Link specific) will allow you to control these outlets as well as the TP-Link switches without any other home automation hubs or devices.
