Dracast LED600 Daylight Overview

The 5600K BoltRay LED600 Daylight Fixture from Dracast is a versatile fixture with spot-to-flood beam capability. Its included 4-way barndoors help you to further shape the beam, lighting areas that you want to and keeping light from areas that you don't. The light metal and plastic construction backed with a U-shaped yoke make it easy to mount in difficult places.

The LED600 dims from 0-100%. Dracast uses PWM (pulse-width modulation) to make possible this wide dimming range with high color fidelity (CRI 96) without flicker. The light features high output with low 60W power draw and runs barely warm to the touch thanks to a virtually silent fan. Besides the barndoors, and yoke, the LED600 comes with a soft nylon carrying case and multi-voltage AC power adapter and cord that allow you to use it anywhere in the world.

question

It says its spot-to-flood? How I don't see any info on the beam angle or in the pictures how this can be adjusted.
Asked by: Anonymous
This light does not actually have spot-to-flood beam capability as the ad copy says. We will change that. This is a fixed light that is more like a very small regular spot than anything else. It does not even have a fresnel lens, although early ads might have inadvertently referred to them as fresnel lights. /// Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at [email protected]

question

lumens at 1m and 3m? cri?
Asked by: Valente
The previous answer may have been due to some miscommunication. The DRBR-F-600D BoltRay LED is a 60W light, so it would be closer to 350-400 watts of regular hot light. We hope to be able to post some photometrics for this series sometime soon. --- Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at [email protected]

question

whats the difference between this one and this one: https://<a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1367505-REG/dracast_drbrplf600d_boltray_600_plus_led.html target= _blank >www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1367505-REG/dracast_drbrplf600d_boltray_600_plus_led.html</a> ?
Asked by: Valente
Please look over the two postings again, having each one open in a separate tab. You will be able to see the differences. The main differences are that the Plus can run on batteries, and has a digital readout, and the regular model has neither of those. // Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at [email protected]

question

Power is AC only?
Asked by: edwin
Yes. There is no battery option for the BoltRay lights. The only way you could use it with a battery would be to have an inverter which could handle 60W of power. // Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at [email protected]
