Designed for the creative and active individual, the new 20L ash Everyday Backpack from Peak Design has been fashioned to protect and easily expand to accommodate a variety of gear. The 20L Everyday was designed to hold a full frame DSLR with 3-4 lenses. A dedicated laptop sleeve holds a 15" laptop and 11" tablet. Three FlexFold touch fastening dividers can be configured to create cubbies and pass-throughs to protect a variety of camera and lens combinations among other types of gear. The MagLatch system allows you to expand your bag if you find yourself carrying extra gear. Dual exterior side pockets and a compression strap can keep a tripod, umbrella, or water bottle securely attached to your backpack.

A top zippered pocket provides quick access to your phone, keys, and small items that you need to retrieve often. Sub-divided interior pockets provide additional organization allowing you to separate your cables, batteries, and other small accessories, eliminating time spent digging around for a specific item. Adjustable backpack straps and an adjustable sternum strap keep your backpack firmly and comfortably in place when worn on your back. A top grab handle and side briefcase style strap provide alternative carrying methods. For long-distance travelling, a pass-through luggage strap allows you to position your bag securely on your rolling suitcase. The Everyday Backpack is made of durable Kodra fabric with a weatherproof DWR coating.

  • Multiple zippered and slip pockets provide quick access and organization
  • Three included FlexFold dividers can be configured fit your needs and equipment
  • The MagLatch closure allows for quiet and easy expansion
  • Adjustable backpack straps, a top grab handle, side briefcase style strap, and luggage pass through provide multiple comfortable carrying methods

Everyday Backpack (20L, Ash) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around backpack I have a few messenger bags and a sling bag from different makers. In the market for a camera backpack, almost purchased the Ona backpack until my friend showed me this Peak Design bag, and was sold immediately. overall good quality, no need to pull out the rain cover like most other brands, water just shed off the bag. Able to carry all my prime lens (35, 58, 85, and 50), the df camera and a few accessories with no fatigues after a few hours walking around town. Contemporary look and not bulky and doesn't look oversized for a short guy like me. Would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from currently the best camera bag i bought since starting with mirrorless cameras, i have been through bags from different brands, e.g. thinktank, lowepro, pacsafe, etc. so when peak design announced their kickstarter campaign of everyday bags, i got my first charcoal 20L from there. but since it was a first generation product, there were a few issues for me: the main strap was a bit misaligned, the side opening zippers were not sliding as smooth. then they announced this all black version, which i got here from b&h. good thing those issues are not in this new version. this is really the best camera bag for me, until peak design improves it further in the next version.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Under-delivers. Smaller than advertised laptop slot. Lots of functions crammed into a tight space reduces this bags usefulness. This product is fairly over-designed, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, except it seems to be wanting in field testing. Everything is an extremely tight fit. Less Tokyo-apartment/nautically engineered perfection, more overstuffed rucksack in feel even when empty. I will give a more full review at a later date, but to anyone considering pre-ordering this bag as I did: ***It's 15 inch dedicated laptop compartment tapers 3 inches from the bottom, functionally making the the compartment only suitable to laptops/tablets around 12 in length. My brand new 15 Lenovo does not even remotely fit. The width is fine, until you reach the bottom taper which stops the computer and leaves it protruding from the top by 3 inches. My Ideapad is 10.5 inches x 15 inches and fits within a bag that has a smaller footprint by approx 15-20%. I'm unsure how the bag/tolerance will relax as the bag is broken in, however the amount of force I tried to use while still unable to make my equipment fit was worrisome. I will speak to the company tomorrow and update/edit based on their response.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slim, High Build Quality First off is the build quality is great. Fit and finish of the materials are awesome. Haven't abused it just yet so don't know how it will hold up, but it seems like it will. I've been looking for a slim photo backpack for a while now and this definitely fits the bill. I still need to figure out the best configuration to hold a camera body with a lens attached, but it holds my 5D, 17-40, 50Art, and 100Macro, plus filters, lens hoods, charger, cables, 15 Macbook etc no problem. Only gripe would be I wish there was one more shelf to be able to better separate the top compartment from the rest of the bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive Backpack! The 20L Everyday Backpack is my very first Peak Design product, and I am thoroughly impressed. Not only are the materials top-notch, but the overall design of the bag was expertly crafted for the travel photographer. There are so many possibilities for this bag, and so many different ways it can be customized for each trip. I look forward to using this backpack extensively in Colorado and in the Dominican Republic later this year! I think the only negative thing I can mention is the waist strap compartment - it's such a tight spot that storing the straps is a slight pain point. But otherwise, the padding is thick (and I love the origami separators, by the way) and will hold plenty of gear and accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for Mirrorless System I have an A7iii with a couple lenses, the 24-70 GM and 70-200 GM. The set up fits perfectly in the bag with no issues, and still have space for a few primes if needed. My 15 inch Macbook Pro fits in the laptop compartment, but it is a snug fit when the bag is full. I usually don't bring my laptop when I shoot, but it's something to consider when looking at the 20L and 30L bags. I would recommend the 30L for travel if you're packing your laptop, and the 20L for shoots where you won't pack your bag with a bigger laptop and a lot of supplies. I love this bag's color so much! It looks awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy it again in a heartbeat What an awesome backpack. This is literally the backpack I've been looking for for years now. I've always had to compromise when it came to my 15 laptop and camera kit. Once I got a Mavic Pro I started looking harder for a camera bag and found this. Between the magnetic latch, looks, quality, size, this bag is just about perfect. As an Apple junkie I'll say it's almost like Apple designed a backpack. The one compromise I've run into is I wish there was a little more room to slide a folder or something into. My laptops pretty thin so I can get away with a folder with a few sheets of paper, but it's tight. Overall this is an A+

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful bag, with an interesting mix of features There are some great features about this bag, along with some not so great features. Unlike most reviews, I will start with the negatives first. Cons: 1. Like many bag manufacturers, Peak Design seems to equate the size of the bag with the size of the person using the bag. I'm 5'10, broad shouldered, stocky, and the shoulder straps have to be let just about all the way out for me to wear the bag over a winter jacket. I assume they think someone my size will buy the 30L version, but I already have a large bag, and wanted something smaller. So if you are a large individual, try the bag on before buying it. It's also not as comfortable as other backpack bags, such as the Trailscape 18L by MindShift Gear. 2. The chest strap is unique, but is not really easier to use than a traditional chest strap that buckles in the middle. The Peak Design strap still takes two hands to use if you are putting any pressure on the strap, and you do need to hook the free end of the strap back to the shoulder strap after you release it, as it is quite long. 3. It's not as easy to arrange the dividers as it is on a traditional backpack bag where you can open the bag and lay it flat. Despite the negatives, I am keeping the bag and will use it for travel. Pros: 1. The bag is essentially a sling type bag, so you can access your stuff without removing the bag or putting it. For me, that is a must for a travel bag. 2. The partitions, which are a nuisance to rearrange, allow great flexibility. It's the only sling type bag that lets me carry a Fujifilm 50-140 on an X-T2 with the hood in the shooting position. It will also handle the 100-400 on the X-T2, again with the hood in the shooting position. My more normal travel kit is the 35 1.4, 18-55, and 55-200, which most bags can handle. But I can also fit a 14 travel tripod inside the bag. When I travel in a city, I don't want the tripod on the outside. 3. Many bags claim doesn't look like a camera bag. It's been my experience that most bags that are actually camera bags do in fact look like a camera bag (especially backpacks). This bag does not look like a camera bag (at least to me). 4, The bag is well made, and has a multiple of handles on it for easy carrying. Overall, I'm very pleased with the bag.
