According to Panasonic, the HDMI outputs images up to 4K 24p and UHD 60p/50p and is compatible with external recorders such as the ATOMOS Shogun. B&H offers other external recorders that should work such as those by Convergent Design and Video Devices.

Can you use the Genentech matte clip on matte box with this camera?
Asked by: Bradley
We're afraid not. As you can see from this photo on our website, the design of the integrated top handle with a microphone will prevent you from using any matte box. There is not enough room to hold a matte box. https://bit.ly/2PLyBT8

I I need to know what ISO scale this camera works? It is not in the manual. I want to work manually with my Gossen Pro photometer and I can't do it because I don't know what ISO the camera has.
Asked by: Wedderhoff
Panasonic does not explicitly provide this spec to us. We would recommend contacting them directly for further clarification.

question

Is there a way to not create a new clip each time you pause/rec? For ex, I video depositions where they may take several breaks during a 1.5 hour depo. I was hoping to save files as mpeg4 on SD card and give to client (on USB or whatever) without having to re-encode, etc. But, don't really want to delivery 8 clips, for example, on a 1.5 hr. depo if they take 8 breaks which may be unusual for that many breaks but not impossible. Thanks! - Tim
Asked by: Tim
If you are using Adobe media encoder in the current version you can add all clips into it and encode into one file. You may also watermark along other things. Might make life easier as well as cut down on your data by encoding to a reasonably composed format.

question

Is there a configurable mode to switch between fps(and shutterspeeds with it?) on gh5 I can program c1/c2/c3 and just turn the knob to get into different fps and I have the shutterspeeds programmed according to it.
Asked by: Valentino
Sorry, but this is a simple camcorder and it does not really work like a stills camera. You can set certain functions to auto or to manual and there are buttons that you can program to ease your transition. Also shutter and FPS do have basic adjustments. But I am not seeing a way to do what you wish. If you wish for us to dive deeper in this for you, please email your request. [email protected]
