Cables are an issue

Tilta things are great but this plate came with cables for small cameras. I bought it for a c300 and sourced d tap to 8v connector on E Bay. When I inquired tilta they directed me to their other more expensive pinch. Lanparte would’ve been the way to go.

question

Is the 12V output compatible with 2.5mm male input cables?
Asked by: Joel F.
We do not have information saying so. However it is our opinion that this is an unlisted industry standard and has a 12VDC and 2.5mm connection.

does it come with a Panasonic DMW-BLF19 dummy battery ?
Asked by: Giacomo
We're afraid not. However you will be able to use a product like B&H # INMINIP19 with this battery plate. B&H # INMINIP19 is the IndiPRO Tools Mini-Tap with Panasonic DMW-BLF19 Dummy Battery Cable. https://bhpho.to/2BqDR6y

What B&H pat would you suggest as a connection to a dummy battery for my Sony FX3 and also a new Sony ZV-E10?
Asked by: Mitchell
the FX3 and the ZV-E10 use different batteries therefore need different dummy battery adapters. The FX3 works great with IndiPRO Tools Coiled D-Tap to Sony NP-FZ100 Type Dummy Battery Cable (24-36") (B&H # INDTSA73 MFR # DTSA73) The ZV-E10 works well with the IndiPRO Tools D-Tap to Sony NP-FW50-Type Dummy Battery Inline-Regulated Coiled Cable (22-42") (B&H # INCPTA7S MFR # CPTA7S)

question

does this system allow you to charge your Gold Mount battery before your shoot via wall plug? or would I need to buy a Gold Mount Battery Charger separate?
Asked by: Anonymous
This does not charge your batteries. You would need an additional charger.

question

What is its weight? And, why the non-functioning D-tap?
Asked by: Arthur
Hello,This adapter weighs slightly more than half a pound. The design for these plates has recently changed, and the vestigial D-Tap output has been removed. I apologize for the inaccurate photos; once our next order of plates arrives, we will be taking new pictures of the updated plates to confirm the outputs on the new design, and sending them to B&H to update this product page as well.

question

Does this unit have a AC input
Asked by: Anonymous
Hello,The only form of power input on this plate is the battery that you attach to the unit. There are several power outputs, in addition to the outputs that may exist on your battery's housing, but there is no mechanism for feeding power to the plate besides the battery that is mounted.
