Toa Electronics MA-725F Overview

The black MA-725F Matrix Mixer/Amplifier from Toa Electronics is an all-in-one solution for multi-channel or multi-zone applications combining a 6x4 audio matrix, DSP, and 4-channel Class-D amplifier into one chassis. It is equipped with four independent line inputs, two mic/line priority inputs, and four outputs. Each output channel features a 250W Class-D amplifier with 64 DSP preset selections for general equalizations, crossover for subwoofer, and EQ settings. The mic/line inputs have first and second priority levels which can override at assigned output channels automatically or manually. All assignments and setups can be done by dip switches on its rear panel without a laptop or a PC.

An optional WP-700-AM wall remote can be connected to the amplifier via a CAT5 cable, allows remote audio source selection and volume controls. The MA-725F Matrix Amplifier is suitable for wide range of applications that require multi-zone paging and/or background music distribution at restaurants, clubs, retail stores, schools, offices, factories, etc.

Four stereo-summing line inputs with matrix routing to four amplifier outputs
Each line input has input level adjustment and assign restriction setting for each output to prevent wrong routing selection
Two priority mic/line inputs with different priority level for paging or other pre-recorded source which can override the selected line input on assigned output channels
Each priority input also has input level, mute sensitivity, and mute hold time adjustments
Each output channel is equipped with 250W Class-D amplifier at 70V/100V output voltage selectable with independent DSP preset selection and 50 Hz HPF for the protection of connected speakers
Selectable DSP preset selections include general EQs, like loudness curves, TOA speaker EQs, and crossover settings to be used with subwoofers
Each output channel also has auxiliary line output to deliver audio to other systems
Class-D amplifier has various protection features against overcurrent, high temperature, and short circuit of speaker lines at each output channel
Power supply with Power Factor Correction for reduced power consumption and world-wide operating range
Does not require any PC programming or network connection for setup at site (maintenance purpose only)
An optional WP-700 wall mount remote control can be connected via CAT5 straight LAN cable to control the line input selection and output volume of each output
