URS2730W-01 Watertight Case with Wheels for URSA Mini is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly designed This is the second HPRC case I've owned, and both of them suffer from the same cheap feel, especially as compared to Pelican cases of the same sizes. The lid does not line up with the rest of the case. You know how when you close a Pelican case you get a satisfying "thump" of the o-ring hitting home? On HPRCs (in my experience anyway) it's more of a "doing" of plastic-on-plastic. Sure, it's not a deal breaker because it's easy enough to seat. It just doesn't inspire confidence. The foam in this case is hard. It's not like the Pelican pick and pluck stuff. I can't see it providing much shock protection. It's clearly cut for the URSA mini, only the camera doesn't fit in quite right. There's a cut-out for the handle, and in the product literature they show the camera being stored with the handle and viewfinder attached. However, the handle scrapes against the foam, and puts pressure on the opposite side of the camera, where the high spots are the two audio control knobs. After taking the camera in and out perhaps 5 times, the top edge of the foam is already starting to break up where the handle goes in. That's from me putting pressure on the handle side to avoid scraping the audio knobs against the opposite side of the foam. I decided to cut out a notch for the dials, and be advised that this foam does not cut cleanly (even with a very sharp utility knife). There's a deep recess below the camera to accommodate a shoulder/tripod mount. However, if you store the camera without some substantial base plate attached, the back of the camera falls into that recess, and it sits at a very weird angle. I filled that in with some soft foam, but it would be nice if they provided a removable block of foam in that area. Otherwise, it's fine. The fixed handles and extensible rolling handle seem to be of good quality. The roller handle is a bit short, though. I'm 6'4" and I had to either stoop or have the case hitting me in the heels. I suppose I'm keeping it due to the fact that I already damaged the foam, but you'd be better off with a Pelican and forming the foam yourself.
