Canon E-73 reviews

E-73 Lens Cap is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Best to keep a spare handy! This lens cap does indeed find it's way off you're 15mm Fisheye with ease! My solution: Cut a Small square 1/4 x 1/4 of 3M brand friction tape. Press it on to a tip of the lens hood and cut a little larger square of gaffers tape over the friction tape. This lens cap will now only come off when you take it off! I lost my original cap about 2 weeks after the date that I purchased it. Purchased this replacement and I've taken my above steps and it's been secure for 4 years now. Cheers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is a lens cap Tough to rate a simple lens cap right? Wrong, the fisheye lens cap is a poor fitting cap that regularly falls off each time the lens is pulled from the bag and it is just a matter of time before yours bounces into a sewer or lake one day. I now duct tape an elastic band to it and wrap it around the end cap or side barrel of the lens so this one doesn't go for a roll somewhere I can't retrieve it from. Unfortunately there are no real alternatives to this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only cap that doesn't lock. Cap gets looser and looser over time. Supposed to protect fisheye lens, but it often falls off. It's on a leash now so I don't lose it. Not very great protection because of that, but few other choices. I wish it just clicked in. it's metal, so it would be great protection if it worked better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great fit My original lens cap fell off as it was ill fitting. Despite having dropped the lens and bending the edge a little, the new lens cap fits nice and tight. I'm so happy to have my fish-eye lens cap back!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EF-15/2.8 Metal Fisheye Cap Cover The one cap that covers the widest Canon EF Prime! Light, fast, compact, short, and fullframe Mass is near center of gravity and support. Great close quarters opticap! This metal cap covers it all!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Improved Cap? This replacement OEM cap is a tighter fit. I am not sure if Canon made changes to the cap's design. But, there is a new Canon logo in white on the inside face of the cap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from had to be done! I don't use a lens cap on anything, except my 15mm, since to NOT use one would be asking for an expensive scratch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As expected It works, covers the lens. It's not quite as firmly attached as I would hope, but it is what it is.
