This B&H Kit combines the HP Z440 Series Tower Workstation with a 56GB (7 x 8GB) memory module kit, two 5TB 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" hard drives, an HP Quadro K2200 graphics card, two 18" 7-pin 180° to 90° SATA cables, and B&H installation services. This HP Z440 workstation is powered by a 3.6 GHz Intel Xeon E5-1650 v4 Six-Core processor with 15MB of L3 cache and includes three hard drives - a native 256GB Z Turbo Drive G2 PCIe SSD and two included 5TB 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" hard drives, for a total storage capacity of 10.256TB. A SuperMulti DVD Burner is also built into this system for reading and writing data stored on optical media. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Pro (64-bit), a Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) license is also included and is available at no additional cost.

For delivering sharp, clear graphics, this workstation has been upgraded to include a dedicated HP NVIDIA Quadro M2000 graphics card with 4GB of GDDR5 RAM. Video may be output to one 5K display or dual 4K displays using the four DisplayPort 1.2 outputs, and other external peripherals may be connected to this system using the eight USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. Network connectivity may be achieved using the Gigabit Ethernet port and a USB keyboard and mouse is also included.

This HP Z440 system natively includes 8GB (1 x 8GB) of RAM. However, once upgraded with the bundled 56GB (7 x 8GB) memory module kit, this system features 64GB (8 x 8GB) of 288-pin 2400 MHz PC4-19200 DDR4 ECC Registered RAM.     The Z440 Series Tower Workstation from HP delivers powerful performance in a 4U rackable minitower form factor and is designed for professionals who require high reliability. The Z440 is well suited for tasks such as intensive graphics, 3D rendering, and multimedia, as well as science and engineering applications. The system is powered by a 3.6 GHz Intel Xeon E5-1650 v4 Six-Core processor that will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously.

    The 8GB of 2400 MHz PC4-19200 DDR4 ECC Registered RAM allows the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously and also to access frequently-used files and programs. All in all, there are a total of eight DIMM slots and with all of them in use, this system supports 128GB RAM, or 16GB per slot. As this RAM features ECC technology, it is able to help detect and correct the most common kinds of internal data corruption. This RAM is also registered and registered memory modules, also known as buffered memory modules, place less electrical loads on the memory controller and allow single systems to remain stable with more memory modules than they would have otherwise.

    For storage of your files, this HP Z440 is equipped with a 256GB Z Turbo Drive G2 PCIe SSD. While the 256GB SSD may not have the larger storage capacity of a traditional spinning hard drive, it contains no moving parts, which helps it to be more resistant against bumps, drops, and other kinds of damage. SSDs also receive less wear and tear than traditional hard drives, as there are no read and write heads. Additionally, as this SSD connects via PCIe as compared to SATA, it is able to operate with even greater data transfer speeds. It provides sequential reads up to 2,150 MB/s and sequential writes up to 1,260 MB/s.

    If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the Z440 features eight (8) USB 3.0 ports, two (2) USB 2.0 ports, and two (2) PS/2 ports. For users who wish to add additional components to the drive bays, the Z440 features two internal 3.5" drive bays and two external 5.25" drive bays. Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the integrated Realtek HD ALC221 outputs high-definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers. No integrated or dedicated graphics controllers are included with this system, allowing the user to select a GPU of their choice.

    The Z440 Series Tower Workstation includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, a power cord, restore & recovery media, and a fan & front card guide. The Z440 operates using a 700W power supply that runs using 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Professional (64-bit), a Windows 10 Professional (64-bit) license is included.
