Camlux Pro Bi-Color On-Camera Light Kit is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 76.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from I like it, don't love it. Its knobs feel ready to break. Not sure if its my unit since people boast about the build quality on them. Bought it with a NP battery kit that didn't hold a charge. I've sent it to Dracast under warranty 2 weeks ago and still haven't gotten back to me. It decently bright for its size. Bi-color but independent Tungsten and Daylight knobs so it's only at its brightness when both are maxed so you end up with the mid temp split. But i've D-tapped, and works well enough in my travel interview kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent product! A great value. I previously purchased a larger version of this product by Dracast. I was extremely impressed by the sturdiness, and solid construction. The same is true of this more portable battery powered model. I was so impressed by this I purchased too more. An excellent product. Better than similar ones at a much more reasonable price. The included battery when purchased separately is close to half the cost of this unit so why not buy the whole kit. The included diffuser is easy to add or remove. Out put seemed very good for a small unit, plus the color temperature is completely controllable. I hope to use these 3 for a very portable 3 pint lighting system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Light I have only used the Camlux Pro a few times so far and I'm pleased with its performance. I own a Dracast LED160 light already and the Camlux Pro is slightly larger but thinner with more output. There are two battery slots on the rear but the one battery that ships with the light will sufficiently power the Camlux. The diffusion filter is also handy to cut down on the multiple shadows that LED's can create. The on/off swith is separate from the dimmer knob which allows you to set the dimmer to a desired position and turn the light off and back on at the same dimmer level. The construction is solid and the slim design is handy for easy storage. If I catch another sale, I ay buy another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best purchase of the year!!!. I just got this and I tested next to my other more expensive dracast light, and I can't believe that this was priced this low to be honest. Specially with a 6600mAh massive battery and charger!. Woah! As far as the light its broad and not just a spot light so it covers more a area and the brightness rivals leds that cost twice the price. I should had bought 2 but the best LED for the price. The built quality assures me that I will enjoy this for many years in a tough environment like NYC. JustNYC

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Powerful light but cheap ball head We use this light on our news cameras and works wonders for its size, perfect for run and gun lighting on camcorders and broadcast cameras. Battery consumption hasn't been an issue but the ball head is it's only let down. The thread and tightener is made of frail plastic and could barely hold the light on a cold shoe mount, which fell off a couple of times. The thread crumbled after only a few weeks on the job so we had to either mount them on extendable arms or a ball head with a metal thread. Otherwise a powerful light for its size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic for in field news usuage I've now had this fun little guy for 2 weeks. I've used it for interviews in situations from charity events in dark rooms to late night house fire pressers (where the other stations just went with the light I was providing). It's also done a fair job or lighting up exteriors of buildings at night. I have yet to use it in a studio or commercial setting, but I'm guessing it will meet my expectations. I also love having the independent battery power so its not sucking the battery life out of my camera like the FrezziDimmer I originally had. (I got this when BH had this as a deal of the day, I'm waiting for the day it goes up again to buy 2 more) Don't get me wrong, I think this is well worth the money, but it's an even better bang when you can get it on sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Couldn't stop recommending it I'd say this light is one of the best of the few I've used from other event shooters. Only a couple of minor things that kept me away from giving it a solid 5 star. It is very color accurate. Color accuracy is very important to me, more important than sheer brightness. But for an LED this small and this price range, it is actually pretty bright. A lot of times it is too bright. I wish the dimmer is from 1% to 100% instead of turning off after 10%. One of the design flaws, to me, is the bottom filter lock. I feel like it shouldn't be there in the first place. Most people aren't really going to stack these lights on top of each other so adding that versatility is kind of a waste. My main issue with it is that the placement of the bottom lock makes it difficult to engage. You'd need something flat and small to dig it out to engage the lock. If it's not engaged, the filter would drop down a little, revealing maybe 3 rows of LED from the top. The ball mount that comes with sucks. Just get a better one. Lastly, I wish there's an actual "temperature dial" instead of separate brightness dial for distinct tungsten and daylight. Having two separate dials makes it difficult to fine tune the perfect temperature or even recall the settings for later revisit. Despite all that, I have 3 of them and I love them. I have them with me all the time even when I have my three 1x1 LED lights.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad at all I have been looking for a decent on camera light for a while. I was hesitant to go to Dracast, because my early experiences with their products was not great, but I have seen they had made a great effort to improve their quality, plus B&H had this light on sale, so I decided to try it. Pleasantly surprised. The spread is decent (usually i need to have to people side by side on the shot) and the color seems pretty accurate. Looks well built, but only time will tell. But the one thing there is no question about, you get a lot for your money in this package.
