  • 1Description

Enjoy dynamic handheld performance and a "pure" Android experience with the white Google Nexus 5X H791 32GB Smartphone from LG. This smartphone features a hexa-core 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 2GB of RAM. It also comes equipped with 32GB of storage. The integrated USB Type-C interface allows you to connect the device for mass-storage purposes, data transfer, and also serves as a fast-charging port.

The Nexus 5X houses a 5.2" IPS LCD display, which is designed to deliver robust imagery and color depth. Its 1920 x 1080 native screen resolution lets you watch Full HD content without pixel loss. Additionally, the Nexus 5X features a powerful dual-camera array: a 12.3MP rear camera with a pixel capture size of 1.55µm and f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front-facing lens. The rear camera's larger pixel size is designed to absorb more light, producing sharp photos even in low-light conditions.

The Nexus 5X is also well-equipped for wireless communication. It features Bluetooth v4.2 technology for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi for high-speed Internet connectivity. NFC technology is built-in and enables you to connect to compatible devices for wireless content sharing. GPS with GLONASS is also on-board for using Google Location and Maps services. The Nexus 5X is equipped with a 2700mAh battery, which can deliver up to 4 hours of use from only 10 minutes of charging.

GSM / 4G LTE Wireless Connectivity

LTE is an advanced cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds so fast that they compete with wired broadband Internet providers. With an LTE connection, this phone should have no problem streaming HD video, downloading apps, uploading photos, or anything else that requires a high-speed data connection. The phone is also backwards compatible with 3G and 2G data for instances when you can't get LTE. In addition to cellular wireless, this phone also features Bluetooth 4.1 + LE, NFC, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi connectivity.

Note: Not compatible with all cellular networks. Please make sure your provider uses a frequency or band that this phone supports, and that they will allow you to used carrier unlocked phones. You can check which bands this phone works with in the Specifications.
International Variant / US Compatible LTE

Android 6.0 Marshmallow
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 6.0 Marshmallow overhauls permissions, allowing you to have finer control over what your applications have access to. It also marks the debut of Now on Tap, a context-sensitive update to Google Now that checks your current screen for keywords and then searches for them automatically. Other performance and security enhancements are included as well.
Powerful Dual Cameras
The Nexus 5X's enhanced camera array excels in low-light conditions. The rear lens's larger 1.55μm pixels capture more light in all conditions to produce vivid details and sharp images.
Nexus Imprint
Built into the back of your device to accommodate the way you hold it, the Nexus Imprint fingerprint reader will turn on your screen with one touch, unlock your apps quickly, and let you breeze through checkout lines with Android Pay support.
USB Type-C
The USB Type-C charger is reversible, which means no more guessing which way is up. It also enables fast charging—you get almost four hours of use after only ten minutes of charging.

LG H791 reviews

Google Nexus 5X H791 32GB Smartphone (Unlocked, White) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Okay hardware, terrible customer service. Originally, I would tell friends that this had been the best smartphone I had ever owned. However, after the phone suffered a common hardware failure, LG has refused to repair it. The issue was discussed in a blog post: The LG G4, V10, and the Nexus 5X are all affected by the bonded flipchip substrate breaking off of the BGA package under the CPU, which usually manifests in bootlooping or screen corruption, and eventually a complete brick. It's not solder related; the only way to fix it is by completely replacing the CPU package with one that isn't defective. As much as I enjoyed the phone while it worked, LG's customer service is abysmal and I would recommend highly against any of their products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it but don't love it My Nexus 5x is better than my last phone (a bad LG G4, and before that i had a good LG G4), but i have a couple issues. I thought getting a phone directly from Google meant that it would be more configurable, in a way. My last G4 would automatically run Spotify when connected to my car, but this phone insists on Google Music. My last phone had a great gallery app, and the only good one i an find for this one is Google Photo (which has ups and downs). I seem to drop service more often than my other phones. I do enjoy the size and weight, which are both much better than my last phones considering i was looking for a smaller device. Overall, happy i bought it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seamless transition to Nexus 5x I was looking for a replacement for my Moto X 2014, and transitioning to the Nexus 5x was so easy. If straight vanilla Android is what you want, you have it. Having a Nexus also currently allows all the latest Android updates, including Google Assistant, like on the Pixel phones. The camera is also quite good! This version comes with an international charger (two round pins) so you will need a converter to use the quick charger. It also comes with a USB-A to USB-C converter if you have old charging cables. Shipping from B&H was fast and easy, and came within 3 days as predicted. Great deal (e.g. not $600-$700) for a good phone that works with current apps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed twice in 6 months! After one month the touch sensor failed and had to be shipped to LG for repair. Phone was still in pristine condition. Without a phone for 3 weeks. Now after 6 months after OTA update the phone won't boot anymore. Contacted LG and they say it needs to be sent back again for repair. I purchased July 2016 and BH sent me one manufactured in Oct 2015, from first batch without the USB-C to USB-A dongle. Was hoping to get the newer manufactured ones and now really regret this purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hardware/software failure I purchased the phone and paid for 1 year protection service or whatever it was, 1 month after it's expired, the phone did not turn on anymore, there is a lot of discussions about google nexus phones and a lot of them have the same issue hardware/software failure when phone will stop working and won't turn on at all and lg refuses to repair or anything... same thing happened to my google nexus 5, i was able to exchange it once, and another one barely handled 6 month and broke the same way... Do not by nexus 5 or 5X, they're all defected!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Phone but Buyer Beware I purchased two of these devices in December '16; one for my wife and one for myself. I knew about the infamous boot loop but accepted the risk. After 11 months my wife's device spontaneously restarted and appeared to enter the dreaded boot loop. B&H is honoring their warranty at this point and have accepted the device back for repair or replacement. Knock on wood my 5X is still running strong. We run them on the AT&T network and have no complaints. I would purchase again if they were still on the market.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun while it lasted I want to start by saying that B&H is my go-to for just about everything electronics related - from professional audio to personal electronics like cell phones. I don't want to say anything critical about them at all! This phone lasted about 13 months (bought in September 2016) before spontaneously shutting down after which it would not start. It would not even bring up a boot-loader screen - completely dead. If you search Google Nexus 5X, I think you'll quickly see that the boot looping and/or "bricking" of this phone model is all too common. LG is currently evaluating my phone for repair under warranty. I'm nervous that they may dispute the failure as being a manufacturing defect. To be fair to LG though, we haven't gotten that far just yet. You might want to save yourself the trouble though.
