Nikon KeyMission 80 Overview

The Nikon KeyMission 80 is a rugged and user-friendly action camera designed for your everyday adventures.

The KeyMission 80 features a front camera that records Full HD 1080p video at 30 fps and 12MP still images in a natural-perspective 80° angle of view; and a rear camera that shoots 5MP stills. It offers features like time-lapse photography, Easy Panorama mode, auto turn-on when unclipped from its support holster, and more. A relatively large 1.75" touchscreen display on the rear allows you to set up and monitor your shots in real time as well as play them back for instant review.

The KeyMission 80 is built to withstand the elements: With no external housing, it is waterproof down to 3.3 ft, shockproof from 5 ft, freezeproof, and dustproof. Aside from being more convenient, not requiring a housing allows for cleaner image and audio capture, because there are no additional layers between the lenses and microphone and your subject. Like the rest of the KeyMission series, the KeyMission 80 uses glass Nikon Nikkor lenses, representing Nikon's commitment to this lineup.

The KeyMission 80 also features built-in video stabilization for the front camera, via a combination of optical lens shift and electronic Vibration Reduction, allowing you to capture smoother video. A free-to-download Nikon control and playback app is also included with the camera that's compatible with both iOS and Android mobile devices.

The KeyMission 80 comes with a magnetic camera holder that can be attached to your backpack strap or any other strap. The camera magnetically snaps on and off the holder, and automatically turns on when removed. It also supports many more optional KeyMission accessories for riding, watersports, and everyday outdoor activities.

The KeyMission 80 has a built-in battery that allows you to record video files up to 29 minutes long, even underwater. Files can be offloaded via USB interface or auto-transferred to mobile devices using the Nikon SnapBridge app via built-in Bluetooth.
