    Tamrac T1100-1919 reviews

Goblin Lens Pouch 0.3 (Black) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tamrac quality, good price I purchased a 0.3 and two 1.0 pouches for my 50mm 1.8 and 2 kit lenses, different colors for each to make picking the wanted lens from my bag easier. The 50mm fits the 0.3 pouch a little too tightly. The lens has to be squeezed in and out. The 0.7 size would be better for most DSLR 50mm primes. The 1.0's hold my kit lenses nicely even with the lens hoods attached (reversed). These are well constructed and close up securely with the drawstrings. The padding is a bit on the thin side but sufficient for protecting the lenses inside the camera bag. A little more padding would be nice but not a necessity, and a couple more color options for different lenses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 0.3 Case - Very Tiny and Will Fit the Smallest Lenses Only These cases offer excellent protection for the minimalist to avoid scratching within a larger case. The 0.3 size case is very tiny, it doesn't fit any of the modern Leica lenses except the smallest of the group such as the 24 Super Elmar and 50mm Apo, but beware the size of this case will barely hold the lens with the rear cap offering the protection because the fit is so tight the drawstring will not cinch over it. The largest size lens that will fit in this case with full drawstring closure is 2 tall and 2 diameter. You will need at least 1.25 of the cases height to pull the drawstring closed. Partial closure will occur with a lens 2 1/4 tall, and a lens 3 tall can be enclosed with the slightest closure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent when the size fits When I bring my m43 system to cover events, I use zoom lens most of the time but I also bring two to three high speed prime lenses with me for low light situation. These lens are small so it's hard to keep them secure in my bag so sometimes they hit each other inside the bag. Tamrac's Goblin pouch provide a solution for me. For 0.3 version, I was thinking about using them for my Panasonic 14mm, 20mm, Olympus 45mm, and Sony 20mm. It turned out it's great for 14mm. For Oly 45mm, the pouch can not be totally closed. For Panny's 20mm and Sony's 20mm, the pouch is not wide enough so putting in and taking out is not easy. If the pouch can be a bit wider, that will be great! These pouch are well made and they are beautiful. When the size of the lens fits, they provide great protection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be careful on sizing The product claim of it's interior size is a bit off. I could just barely sneak my Pentax 35mm f2.4 into the 0.3 size. It fits, but it's quite snug and it does not close fully. However, it is enough to keep my lens safe in my gear bag, and will deter most all dust and debris. I got this bag so my lens wouldn't bang around into my other gear while travelling. So far, so good. I will be purchasing another lens pouch of the same brand for my 18-50mm Pentax kit lens (once I can confidently figure out what size bag is most appropriate) The bags themselves are relatively narrow. They seem to be a better fit for mirrorless lenses. Most all of my SLR lenses are a bit too wide to fit in to the available sizes. For the protection this bag offers and at it's current price point, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others. (again, just be mindful of the interior size of the bag in relation to your lens. buy a bigger bag than you think is necessary)
