Axis Communications Q1615 Overview

The Q1615 Mk II 1080p Network Box Camera from Axis Communications uses a 1/2.8" progressive scan RGB CMOS sensor to capture 1920 x 1080 resolution at up to 60 fps. Its 2.8-8.5mm varifocal lens has a wide 115-38° horizontal field of view to monitor large areas. The i-CS lens allows for installation by providing remote focus and zoom control.

The camera has a built-in microphone, which can be disabled, for recording nearby sound. An automatically removable IR cut filter and Forensic Capture help the camera produce clear images in low-light scenes to provide 24/7 surveillance. Further helping brighten dark environments is Axis Lightfinder technology and the camera's wide dynamic range setting. PoE allows for a clean setup with only a single Ethernet cable providing a network connection and power to the camera.
