Its reinforced construction with heavy-duty metal-plated finish is designed to take the rigors of the road. In addition, it includes a microphone clip, a storage pouch, and an additional rose gold microphone grille.

enCORE 200 Active Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone (Black) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome sound, Tons of bleed. I bought a unit about a year ago, and a week agoI saw the deal of two for the price of one, so I bought them. Looks and construction: They are well made and I think they are one of the best looking microphones you can get (personal opinion) having the new black grill makes them a versatile choice in terms of looks. try not to put the grills on hard surfaces, they might get scratched easily. Sound: This is the most important part, it??s a useless product if it looks nice but it doesn't??t perform well. and the blue 200 clearly has it??s draw backs. I use the encore 200 as the main vocal mic in live sessions videos. I have to admit, I love the way the mic looks on the camera, but it starts to get tricky when you hear the recordings. The mic has a very pleasing tone for vocals, they sound good without any processing, I??ve tried it on snare and toms for rock, but I wouldn't recommend it, What I found is that in high sound sources (HSPL) the internal amplifier looses the unique tone that you get with vocals or quieter instruments, it seams as if the low end disappeared in High SPL sources. it sounds great on softly played percussion, I??ve also tried it with piccolo flute and harmonica with pleasing results. This mic does have a major drawback and in my case it??s been a bit of a pain to deal with. I??ve heard that it??s very susceptible to feed back and not so good with handling noise. the feed back hasn't??t been an issue for because I only use in ear monitors and no amplification in the recordings. What has really been a pain to deal with is the bleed you get from other sound sources, the bleed does sound natural but it sometimes is way too much to handle. it picks up low end sound quite a lot. In conclusion you get a very nice vocal sound, but you will have to position the mic strategically to avoid excessive bleed. It??s best suited for acoustic band occasions, not so good for bands with heavy electric guitars and horns. in those cases go for the blue encore 100.
