Good alternative smartphone mount
I purchased this device for our second vehicle which does not have room for my ikross cup mount holder. This magnetic mount seems to be OK - my smartphone is on the heavy side (LG G4 with Outterbox case), therefore I attached the supplied rectangular metal coupling (adhesive metal plate) to the outside rear of the Outterbox case. So far so good. Certainly worth consideration especially if your smartphone is on the small and light end of the spectrum.

The Best I've Bought!
I have tried several similar products for my car and this one works the best! It holds the phone steady and rigid enough to allow for you to tap to see messages, etc. (Of course only when your stopped). Highly recommend.
