Paralinx 10-1233 Overview

Wirelessly transmit signals over 1000' from your camera with the Paralinx Dart Transmitter and SDI Receiver Kit. The transmitter is LP-E6 powered and, excluding the antennas, about the size of an action camera, making it perfect for action shoots. Simply plug your action camera's HDMI output (please make sure that your camera has a clean HDMI output if you want to record) into the transmitter, and plug your monitor and/or recorder into the receiver to experience the near-zero-latency uncompressed 10-bit 1080p 4:2:2 video feed.

The transmitter can supply power to cameras that can accept power over USB. This is beneficial for action cameras, whose batteries can sometimes run out after less than an hour of shooting. The receiver converts the HDMI video source for output over broadcast-standard SDI. For power, this receiver uses a robust 2-pin power connector. Use the included D-Tap cable to connect the receiver to a power source.

question

Would this transmit a picture if I am recording in Redcode?
Asked by: Clay
Yes. The HDMI output of a RED camera is still active regardless of the codec being used to record (R3D, ProRes, etc). You would just need to make sure that the HDMI out settings of your RED do not exceed the maximum supported resolution/frame rate of the Dart (1080/30p).

Yes. Dart works with resolutions/frame rates up to 1080 30p/60i.
