Positioned as the flagship A-mount camera from Sony, the Alpha a99 II DSLR Camera combines the power of a full-frame 42.4MP Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor and a BIONZ X image processor with front-end LSI to create outstanding images at expanded sensitivities up to ISO 102400 and record UHD 4K video. The a99 II is designed for speed, with an ergonomic body design and redeveloped shutter able to hit 12 fps, with full AF and AE capabilities. It also uses a Hybrid Phase Detection AF System that combines a 79-point dedicated AF sensor with a 399-point on-chip focus system for fast, accurate focusing in all conditions. And, for video, a new S&Q Motion setting permits the capture of Full HD video at a variety of frame rates ranging from 1-120 fps.

Battery chargers that charge the Sony NP-FM500H Rechargeable InfoLithium Battery (7.2V, 1600mAh) used with the Sony Alpha a99 II DSLR Camera all require AC power. While I see no solar panels that are designed to charge an item with AC power connection, I would recommend the GOAL ZERO Yeti 150 Portable Power Station, B&H # GOGZ22004, along with the GOAL ZERO Nomad 20 Solar Panel, B&H # GO11910, which would be a complete system that may be used to charge both AC-powered and USB-powered devices.

I do not believe so. The second card is generally used to copy from card 1 to card 2 for backup.

Currently I'm using an A77 so it's a cropped sensor. I understand that I can use my A77 cropped sensor lenses on the A99ii with the similar cropped result. However, when using the cropped sensor lenses can I still shoot at 4k (3840p wide)? Thanks.
Hi Tony, with cropped sensor lenses you can still definitely shoot at 4K. Below is the listed resolution, frame rate, and bit rate you can record the video using a99 II Camera.
