Offering a versatile wide-angle perspective, the GF 45mm f/2.8 R WR from FUJIFILM is a 36mm equivalent lens for the G-mount GFX camera system. With a slightly wider-than-normal field of view, this lens is ideal for everyday shooting and its f/2.8 maximum aperture suits working in difficult lighting conditions. Its optical design incorporates one aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion elements to reduce both spherical and chromatic aberrations for improved sharpness and clarity. A Nano GI coating has also been applied to individual elements to suppress lens flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color accuracy. Contributing to its flexibility, the lens also features a dust-, freeze-, and weather-resistant construction for use in inclement conditions. Additionally, a manual aperture ring is featured for intuitive, tactile adjustment over exposure settings, and a Command position can also be set for camera-based control over the aperture.

FUJIFILM GF 45mm f/2.8 R WR Reviews
Solid lens and exceeds expectations. Purchased this primarily for night sky work and landscapes.
I've wanted this for a while an now that I have it, it does not disappoint!
Best prime for my gfx 50R
Image quality is Best I've ever seen.
Love the Fujifilm GFX 100
Perfect prime lens to begin my journey with the Fujifilm GFX 100!
Great focal length, relatively compact lens
This has become my go-to lens for the GFX. I originally purchased the 32-64 zoom, but it was big and heavy and I found that the range was not that useful for me on medium format. I always seemed to be playing at one end or the other. So I replaced the zoom with this and am so glad I did. It is relatively compact, the IQ is great as others have said, and the focal length works perfectly for me, as it sits nicely between the 23 and my adapted 77. Plus the GFX sensor is so great I don't mind cropping a bit if I need to go a little longer. Great lens.
Center sharp but edges not good enough.
Lots of people here saying this is super sharp, but it's not. The center is good, but it falls away badly as you move away. Quite disappointing as this is meant to be one of Fuji's best GF lenses, and its nowhere near my Phase/ tech cam Rodenstock lenses. Good points are smooth AF focusing, great value and CA is dealt with well. But really Fuji needs to raise its game in lens performance, if it wants to pull people in from Phase One. At 100mp you want edge to edge sharpness, that is the point, after all... and this does not deliver that, sadly.
A great focal length and optical quality. Small and comfortable in use.
Like all other GFX lenses, the image quality is phenomenal. The cons IMO is size and slowish autofocus, but that's the trade off for going medium format. The fact that I can take my 50R to the streets around my neck and capture super sharp and detailed images is amazing. If image quality is a priority, then that's the best 35 I've ever had. I'm a big Fuji fanboy, I really like their products and what they have done for sensible artists and photographers.
