Explore the world beneath the water's surface without getting wet, using the Aquabotix Endura 100 Mini ROV. It's a submersible, remote-controlled vehicle that sends a live Full HD 1080/24p video feed to the surface, and is also capable of video recording and photo capture. This is the base configuration of the ROV, which can be used for studying marine life and environments and checking water supplies, tanks, and the undersides of boats. It can even be employed in search-and-recovery missions. Various options can be added on to enhance the ROV's capabilities and improve its usefulness in different applications.

This vehicle is submersible to 328'. It ships without the required tether/cable, which is available in neutrally buoyant copper and fiber types of various lengths. The tether connects to the included topside box, which generates its own Wi-Fi signal to allow you to connect your iPad or PC/Mac via the free, downloadable Aquabotix ROV app. With this app, you gain the ability to view the vehicle's live video feed on your computer's display and remotely control its movements and functions.

For storing captured video and photos, the ROV is equipped with 32GB of memory; optional, alternate configurations provide 128, 256, 512, 1024, or 2048GB to hold many more files. The camera features 120° tilt capability along with a wide-angle lens, and the dome port corrects for underwater size distortion that makes everything appear 25% larger and closer--thereby helping to restore wider coverage so you can fit more in the frame. Additionally, the ROV offers LED lighting that outputs an impressive 4400 lumens to help illuminate dark environments.

Five Swiss-made, high torque motors and left, right, and rear propellers drive the Endura through the water, giving you control over the vehicle's forward and vertical motion, and optional lateral and high-output thrusters allow for extra versatility and power. Another helpful feature of the Endura is its ability to carry a payload of up to 4 lb, which can come in handy when you want to attach an optional accessory, such as a grabber arm, external camera, or measurement/research tool.

  • Useful for inspection of water supplies/tanks, study/monitoring of marine life and environments, examination of hulls and undersides of boats, and execution of search-and-recovery missions.
  • Designed for calm/moderate sea conditions (not rough seas or storms).
  • Eliminates need to send human divers on missions, thus helping to keep them safe.
  • Built-in sensors have all the data-gathering capabilities you need, which makes task completion much quicker and easier.
  • ROV can also be used to inspect underwater structures, or underwater portions of structures, such as dams.
  • Because it's rated for depths of a few hundred feet, ROV can dive and work much farther beneath the surface than a human can without need for decompression tanks and other specialized equipment.
  • Adding optional 360-degree scanning sonar enables ROV to detect things a human diver can't, which is a huge benefit in low/poor-visibility conditions.
  • Video and sonar data stored on board--no additional recording devices required.
  • Date and time stamps make the use of ROV-acquired data easy to document.
  • Takes approx. 3 minutes to get vehicle ready and in the water, then 3 hours to master basic driving skills and about 3 days to master skilled driving.
Construction Details
  • Depth rating of 328'.
  • Gap in tail is designed to allow tail to flood withwater, in order to achieve proper buoyancy during operation.
  • Optional weights can be added to bracket on vehicle's bottom for saltwater use, and then removed for freshwater use.
  • Dome port for lens made of acrylic.
  • Capable of carrying payload up to 4 lb, allowing for addition of optional accessories like grabber arm, external camera, or measurement/research devices.
  • Optional upgrade increases payload capacity to 8.0 lb.
Live Video and Capture of Videos and Still Photos
  • Provides Full HD 1080p (at 24 fps) live video feed to surface.
  • Records video and captures photos.
  • Following data logged in recordings: Depth, temperature, heading, pitch, roll, lights on/off, thrust levels, ordered heading, ordered thrust, ordered pitch, ordered depth, camera recording on/off, and power levels.
  • Camera features 120° tilt capability, along with a wide-angle lens.
  • Optional add-on features for camera: 360° rotation and 180° tilt.
  • Dome port corrects for underwater size distortion that makes everything appear 25% larger and closer--thereby helping to restore wider coverage so you can fit more in frame.
  • ROV equipped with 32GB of memory. Alternate configurations available with 128, 256, 512, 1024, or 2048GB.
  • Bright, 4400-lumen LED lights on vehicle produce effective illumination.
  • Extra lights at 2200 lumens each can be added.
  • Another optional feature that can be added is having lights follow external camera.
  • Driven by 5 Swiss-made, high torque motors and left, right, and rear propellers, giving you control over the vehicle's forward and vertical motion.
  • Optional lateral and high-output thrusters can be added for extra versatility and power.
  • Supplied lithium-ion battery provides run time of 3-4 hours.
  • Optional upgrade to more powerful battery enables run time of 4-6 hours.
  • Optional, continuous topside AC power can be added as alternative to battery, so you can run ROV as long as you need without worrying about loss of power.
Orientation, Depth, Temperature, and Leak Detection Sensors
  • The orientation sensor provides you with readings on yaw, pitch, roll and heading relative to true north.
  • This sensor aids in navigation of the vehicle and is extremely useful in poor water quality conditions.
  • There's also a depth sensor that gives you readings on underwater depth of vehicle with extremely high accuracy.
  • This allows you to drive ROV to exact depth needed for your purposes, and record notes on what you find at different depths.
  • Additional sensor detects and indicates temperature of water where vehicle is swimming, helping to ensure you're not going below the minimum for operating ROV, and allowing you to make note of differences in organisms and plant life at various temperatures. When using ROV for monitoring conditions that need to be regulated, this sensor lets you determine whether environment's temperature is staying within safe range.
  • Leak detection sensor notifies you immediately in unlikely event of a breach in vehicle's waterproof seal, so you can bring it to surface right away.
