The XMS500 has a built-in 16-channel / 8-group receiver that accepts 2.4GHz signals from the optional XMSR transmitter at distances up to 100'. Besides flash triggering, remote controllable functions include power level, modeling light mode, ready indications, and sync including High Speed Sync up to 1/8000 sec.
