Learn all aspects of a traditional darkroom photography workflow in this 4th edition of author Steve Anchell's The Darkroom Cookbook from Focal Press. This hardcover book is packed with techniques for silver-based processing, as well as "recipes" for darkroom experiments and invaluable information on developers, push-processing, reversal processing, enlarging negatives, pyro formulas, printing, and toning prints. The volume also offers advice on different topics, including where to procure equipment and how to set up your darkroom in a safe working space.

Key features of this revised edition of the text include over 200 step-by-step or do-it-yourself formulas, in addition to tips for mastering the "ingredients" of black-and-white photography processing--namely, the chemicals used to develop, stop, fix, and tone.
