The 650 GQ 650W 80 Plus Gold Semi-Modular Power Supply from EVGA is built for performance, durability, and efficiency. Its semi-modular design lets you connect the cables you need and store the rest.     Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great PSU and cable management With PSU's I've noticed that you get what you pay for. If you are spending a bunch of money on building a gaming or editing rig, you really do not want to skimp out on the power supply. This PSU is exactly what I needed. EVGA units are built to last and you can tell this one is rock solid by just taking it out of the box. The only connected cable is for the motherboard power, but the rest is modular. Cable management was a breeze with this unit. I went ahead and got the gold version to be s little more efficient.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good for the price, some issues This power supply is quite cheap for a 650w fully modular unit, but it seems to work really well anyway! I'm running a Ryzen 2700x and a 1060 3gb on it and I never even hear it with eco mode on... except for when it first turns on (sometimes). Occasionally when I turn on my system, I will hear a slight buzzing/whining sound for 5-10 minutes and then I don't hear it at all while it's on. Not sure if mine's defective or not, but I'm not docking a star because the sound isn't very loud or noticable

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dead silent I love this thing. Running a 1080 Ti and a Ryzen 1700 overclocked and even under heavy loads it doesn't make a peep. Quietest power supply I've ever owned. Side note, the fan for this doesn't even spin until it hits roughly 50% load, which it does not seem to do when I'm gaming. (Efficiency of 1080 Ti and Ryzen?) It also produces very little heat.
