question

Does this deliver TRUE high speed sync as compared to the Canon high speed sync?
Asked by: Derrick
All Siros L units with the latest software update (bit.ly/2flZJmN) are HS compatible. HS lets you use flash in combination with very short exposure time settings on your camera. For example, with ambient light, even with the aperture wide open (selective focus), the image can be underexposed correctly with up to 1/8000 s and Siros L still lets you set dominant and creative light effects. All you need for this is the RFS 2.2 trigger, which is available for Nikon, Canon and Sony cameras.

Is this backwards compatible with older (scoro A4s) packs? I own siros but needing rent additional lamps
Asked by: Cameron
WiFi ability with Scoro A4's I can't say for sure but my guess would be yes. Have used a sync cord with the RFS 2.2 coupled with Broncolor Pulso A4. This would require using two RFS 2.2 units, one as transmitter, other as receiver.

The RFS2.2N features pass-through flash sync via its PC-Sync port or top hot shoe but does not transmit TTL information.

This unit is not working with a Z6ii - is this a firmware issue? I've sent multiple emails to broncolor support and they don't answer them... :(
Asked by: Gary
The issue above was due to the shutter setting of "Auto". If the setting is changed to Electronic or Mechanical it works just fine.

Is this compatible with the Hasselblad H6D?
Asked by: Alain
No it isn't - Not sure why Staff says yes. This is a Nikon trigger. The H6D uses the RFS 2.1 transceiver. Hasselblad will tell you this unit could damage the camera just as with any trigger of this type that is brand specific.

question

Can I use a pocket wizard to control the strobes or I have to buy an extra transmitter for the siros?
Asked by: John F.
No it will not work. You will need to buy the broncolor transmitter. Bhphoto salesmen told me that pocket wizards work but I was fooled.

question

I have a pair of Canon 600EX-RT's and a ST-E3-RT. I know I won't be able to get the Broncolor's HSS to work with these. But, would I be able to a stick the ST-E3-RT on top of the RFS 2.2 and control the 600EX-RT's in standard shooting?
Asked by: Robert N.
Hi Robert, Thanks for your question. The RFS2.2C's top hot shoe is only for x-sync only, meaning that while the flash would fire, any E-TTL or HSS signal would not be transmitted.
