Don't waste your time, does not have the grove required to connect the Micro Range Lite MR 14E. Not sure what they were thinking.

Securely holds my MR-14EX flash in position. Without it, it's not a ring flash. I wish Canon would include at least 52 and 58 with the flashes.

Works great

Ring light on more than macro

I recently bought a Canon MR-14EX Macro Ring Light to go with my 100mm macro USM to shoot 1:1 images of evidence on police procedural TV shows. Along with crime scenes and other photo needs for the story. I am thrilled to have the 58C Macrolite adapter so I can use the ring light on my 50mm f1.4 58 thread lens, and not be limited to macro shooting only as I do not have the wider macro lenses. So I would highly recommend this adapter to anyone wanting the flat look of this ring light for their non macro 58 thread lenses. It allows me to get light in places on my subject that my 580 EXIIs have trouble.

It works!

Not much else to say - excellent fit for non Canon lenses.

Hi, I have a Sigma Macro Lens 105mm with 62mm thread and I am wanting to attach my Canon Macro Ring Lite MR-14 EX II, is this the correct accessory I need?
Asked by: Jack
Unfortunately not. This is for lenses with a 58mm thread and gives the MR-14 EXII the ability to attach to smaller lenses by clamping onto a groove on the adapter. Because they do not make a 62mm adapter (only 52, 58, 67, 72), the only way would be to use a step-up ring plus any of the aforementioned adapters to get it to work.

Would the adapter fit a 58 mm lens tread and canon ring flash mr-14ex II ?
Asked by: Rawan
Canon 58C Macrolite Adapter was design for lenses with a 58mm front thread. Once this adapter is attached on your lens front threads, you can easily snap your Canon macro flash in and out.
