Canon 2365A001 reviews

58C Macrolite Adapter is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ring light on more than macro I recently bought a Canon MR-14EX Macro Ring Light to go with my 100mm macro USM to shoot 1:1 images of evidence on police procedural TV shows. Along with crime scenes and other photo needs for the story. I am thrilled to have the 58C Macrolite adapter so I can use the ring light on my 50mm f1.4 58 thread lens, and not be limited to macro shooting only as I do not have the wider macro lenses. So I would highly recommend this adapter to anyone wanting the flat look of this ring light for their non macro 58 thread lenses. It allows me to get light in places on my subject that my 580 EXIIs have trouble.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does Exactly What It Is Meant To Do I use the MT-24EX Macro Twin Light Flash which directly fits the EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro, EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro, and MP-E 65mm lenses and adaptors are required to work with other lenses. The adaptor screws into the lens filter threads and the allowing the flash unit to be used on a wide variety of lens choices greatly increasing the versatility of the flash. This metal adaptor is of high quality and does exactly what it is supposed to do, ie creating a secure attachment point for the macro ring. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job This adapte does what it is supposed to. Bought to use the Canon flash ring with the 100mm macro lens. When it arrived i found out that it was not necessary, the flash attaches direct onto the lens. So double check if you really need it before you purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 58C Macro Ring Light Adapter Reviews showed that the Canon Macro Ring Light was the best choice for Macro photography. The Macro lens that I have could only use the same vendor's Ring Light. I found out from the Photography store that I frequent, that there was an adapter available. I found it on line and I am so glad that I didn't just purchase the other ring light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as described with added benefits. This adapter allows me to use the MR-14EX macro ringlight on my 50mm f/1.4 lens. although the MR-14EX states that filters cannot be used in conjunction with the device, I find that by using a threaded filter, I can fit this adapter and still have the added protection and functionality of UV and Polarizing filters. all metal construction.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well This works well for what it is made for. It won't take too much to over tighten it onto a filter. It is a bear to separate the two if you are not careful. Pretty idiot proof (unless you over tighten it). Does what it is supposed to. Not too expensive compared to other sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It has a simple job and it does it well The 58C Macrolite adapter is, quite simply, a 58mm diameter threaded ring of metal. Solely intended for mounting Canon ring flashes to lenses with 58mm filter barrels -- including macro lenses with filters attached -- it does exactly that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits and securely holds ring light Canon's macrolite adapter connects perfectly to camera or lens adapter rings and securely holds their ring light preventing rotary slippage. It is an essential part of a well crafted system for near point photography.
