Expand your options for mounting HD camera accessories like monitors, transmitters, mic holders, French flags, etc., on your ARRI camera rig by using the ARRI CCH-2 Center Camera Handle. This sturdy carrying handle screws onto a UAP-2 adapter plate (available separately), and features multiple 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching accessories. Designed for use with ALEXA M, ALEXA Mini, and AMIRA cameras, it will also work with many ARRI accessory-equipped third-party cameras.

Using this to carry a Sigma fp cage setup rigged with a 5 SmallHD monitor and you couldn't ask for a more solid handle.

It will not. This is the top handle for the RED DSMC2 Base Expander Module.

can this top handle be mounted to Wooden Camera top plate for Red DSMC2 models?

I have a similar question. Is this Top handle compatible with the Wooden Camera Pass-Through Top Plate for RED DSMC2 Cameras (BH #WO264900) or the RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC2 Tactical Top Plate (BH #REDSMC2TTP)?? Not sure why this product is being advertised as being compatible with/for the Red DSMC2 Base Expander (BH #REDSMC2BE). The Red DSMC2 Base Expander is a module that attaches the back of the camera body to provide the camera with basic audio, video, sync, control and power connect-ability, as well as allows for other Red DSMC2 Modules (or third part modules) to be stacked or mounted to, such as a Gold Mount or V-Mount battery plate or a Teradek Bolt for example. Don't think the Base Expander has anything to do with this top handle, unless I am missing something??

Is it possible to adjust the perpendicular part that goes from handle to cage/rig? Can that part be moved so that the handle becomes an "L" shape?

Does this top plate work with MAP2 or MAP1? I know this is not made for it, but just curious if they fit.

Yes, ARRI CTH-1 Cage Top Handle is compatible with ARRI MAP-2 Adapter Plate and ARRI MAP-. However, the ARRI CCH-2 Center Camera Handle has a more solid connection with the plates.

works in Sony FS7?

The Arri handle would not work with the Sony FS7. However, The following two parts would work. BH #WO193900 and this handle BH #SMHTN2362 and Nato Rail BH #WO151300
