Take the show on the road with the gray Sony MP-CL1A 32-Lumen HD Pico Projector with Wi-Fi. It's able to project an image up to 120" diagonal with its laser diode, which has a maximum brightness of 32 lumens. This laser diode has an operating life of approximately 10,000 hours and delivers a 1920 x 720 native resolution.

The MP-CL1A has a built-in 2-hour rechargeable battery for use anywhere. It features an HDMI input with MHL compatibility for connecting your portable smart devices. Being smaller than a paperback novel and weighing only 7.41 oz, the MP-CL1A is easy to tote around in its included carrying pouch. A USB cable and lens cover/stand are also included.

Compact HD Resolution
Its no-lens structure contributes to its compact size, allowing you to enjoy its 1920 x 720 resolution nearly anywhere.
Rich Color
A wide color gamut (16.77 million colors) enables accurate reproduction of colors for enhanced images. Laser technology focuses a beam of light for every pixel of the image.

    Sony MP-CL1A reviews

MP-CL1A 32-Lumen HD Pico Projector with Wi-Fi (Gray) is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is great! Bought this portable projector as a gift and so far it's better than I could've expected. No blurry images, the color is amazing, and it's very easy to use and set up. Fun and powerful little gadget, definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ignore the Lumens, t'is bright! I was very skeptical to buying a 32-Lumen oh but the perceived light from laser is different when I bought this little thing, but now I am a believer!I It is bright, sharp, and NO NEED TO FOCUS. Sure, the room needs to be dark to very dark to showcase the best quality, but I am very impressed. I compared this side by side to a LED 300 Lumen miniprojector, and the difference is staggering. Another amazing feature is that while the keystone adjustment is manual, it still focuses most of the light to where you want it so you won't get that lit-but-no image light on the wall. The only CONS I can think of is the lack of remote, lack of tripod mount, no tuner, and the inability to mount upside down because there is no setting to flip the image upside down (it does have left/right flip). The build quality is SUPERB and you don't need to haul around additional power supply because it can be powered by a mico-USB! Love it!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very impressed overall. Could use more menu adjustments. I just got this today, so I haven't had alot of time to test this but overall I highly recommend it! Last year I bought a cheap $50 no brand pico projector, as a test run, to take camping with me. It was a good addition to my pack, so this season I decided to upgrade to a real one. So far i've only tested it in my apt but in quick tests, am really happy. Thoughts below. Likes: - Brightness: Even at 32lumens, this is plenty bright in correct (dark) lighting conditions. Lumens of laser light are measured different than bulb lumens, as I understand. -Build Quality: this thing feels very dense and nicely constructed. Definitely doesn't feel like a cheap equipment. -Picture quality: very good for movies, considering the size. Not the best to use for documents and text, but there's definitely worse on the market for that. -NO FOCUSING! -- this is particuarly cool. because it's a laser projection, you don't need to focus. earlier I was projecting it across a couple walls and on wall was about 10 feet further away. Image on both the near and the far wall. Both were perfectly in focus. Dislike: - Menu Settings: considering the pitfalls/limitation of pico projectors, I hoped for alot more pictures options in the menu. It just has contrast, hue and saturation. no brightness or anything else. -Speaker: It's junk. They should've not even built one in. external speaker is a MUST. -Mircast (android) only. No Airplay: I knew this going into it but it's still annoying. I'll be buying a used android phone specifically for this projector so I don't have to use wires. Using an HDMI from my iphone on this thing is a little precarious if you're using the included stand to prop it up. The plugs all plug into the side, so it could be prone to tipping over with the weight of the cables. -No remote- It has no remote compatibility. Keep this in mind if you want use this in some way that you won't have easy access to the device. Conclusion/Recommendation: As said above, it's a very good product that I would highly recommend. There are some design flaws here but with the size and quality of the product, those are overshadowed by the pluses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I love this projector, compact, powerful, easy to use, and produces crystal clear images.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yes Great product to play games and watch movie. Don't use this one for presentation with text. (Blurry)
    Date published: 2017-01-18
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have mixed feelings about this product I like the product due to its compact size and light weight. Its resolution is higher than most projectors. There is no need to focus. Keystone only needs to be set once. It is easy to use and ideal for a traveling presenter. But it is too dim (36 lumins vs. 2,000 and up for larger projectors). I would use it only when no other projectors or TVs is available.
